I am installing SAP Netweaver 7.4 ABAP on Windows 2008 R2 and Oracle 11.2. During SAP Kernel selection of package, it is asking for SAP:AKK:740:UKERNEL*.WINDOWS_X86_64.*. I have downloaded Kernel Windows X64 from Service market place. I don't see kernel version Windows_X86_64 for download.
Am I missing anything?

I have ERP6 ehp6 system in my landscape and want to implement ESS/MSS.
Our plan is to use ABAP WD method for ESS/MSS and connect to existing Portal(Used for BI).
1. 1. What are the requirement to implement ESS/MSS (As BASIS and Functional perspective)

Error happened during this step: installing SAP MMC Snap-In and creating shortcuts
Error message:
Running msiexec failed with return code 1603: Schwerwiegender Fehler bei der Installation.
Commandline was msiexec.exe /norestart /L sapmmcX86u.log /i sapmmcX86u.msi /qn
If you want the installer to retry, choose Yes. If you want the installer to abort the installation, choose No.
I have alreday given the permission/rights that are necessary for the user who is installing the system.

I got the same error for deployment in system copy of SAP portal NW70 including CRM BP as it was already posted in thread 2135964 a year ago.
But I cannot see how I can apply the suggested SAP note to solve the issue. It is not clear whether there is any solution to this issue which may be related to the fact that a CRM BP is included in system copy.
The system copy got stucked with error in java deployment of the CRM components (Source system with CRM Business Package):

Hi,
I am trying to install NW 7.3 on RHEL 6 - Sybase Platform.
I am unable to start SWPM from the command prompt.
I tried both SWPM10SP02_4 and SWPM10SP03_1
The error displayed is -bash: sapinst: command not found.
The linux version is Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server release 6.0 (Santiago)

Any suggestion /help, please let me know.

Dear Support,
Recently, we have installed BI 7.0 (SAP Netweaver 2004s) with ABAP+JAVA
stack and installed BI_CONT 703.
The BI installaiton si completed successfully and both the ABAP and
JAVA process are running fine. But with the installation of BI instance
B24 we got one more instance SMD in the SAP MMC snapin and it is not
getting started. The installation is done with "NO SLD configuration"
As soon as we start the instance SMD it gets started with green color
and immediately comes to yellow status with JControl.exe showing
status 'starting the process" and SMDAgent process status shows as
stopped.
Please find the below logs and let us know hpw to
resolve this and has this instance got anything to do with the BI
instance B24.

we are facing a problem. We have sent a fax from SAP.
Since 3 weeks the system is not sending any fax.
All the messages are staying in the queue with the message XS711 in transit.
When i check the long text of this message it says
Message transferred by node to communication system
Message no. XS711
Diagnosis
The node has passed the message to its communication system.
System Response
Processing was ended normally.
Additional information on the node used (in the system language of the node):
Procedure
No action is necessary. The message will shortly reach the recipient.
Can you pls. advise on how to solve this problems. What can cause this circumstance.

Following point: I try to instal SAP NetWeaver ABAP Trial Version 7.03.
By the installation in step one "creating user" i get following error message (from the logfile):
Could not read the profile path for user S-1-5-21-1037899709-540295885-904245438-1009 from the registry: The system cannot find the file specified.
I look in the registry but i dont have the path with the ending *****-1009. I have the entries ****-1001 and ****-1045.

Hi All,
I am facing one problem in CUP that is, when I am trying to go into the details of a request in CUP, the applications gives me below error:
Request approval screen is not displayed because request status has changed
I searched on SMP for relevant notes and found one quite relevant SAP Note#1484814 which is sugesting to check the connector defined fro LDAP and it gave me successfully results.
Anybody any idea where else I can look for possible helpful information in order to resolve this error?

I have a problem when using WebService Proxies as a Consumer. The Consumer Proxies does not seem to be deployed. I'm using NetWeaver AS Java 7.3 and NWDS.
I did the following:
1.) Create a Development Component WAR and EAR
2.) Create the dependency in EAR Project to War Project
3.) Import a WSDL-File into WAR Project
4.) Created the Client Code from the WSDL-File for using the WebService in my Code (in this step I tried different variants, from slider on "develop" up to "test" - nothing different happened)
5.) Created a Service reference of the WebService, such that I can configure it in the NWA
6.) Build and deployed the EAR Project
After that I opened NWA and looked up if the Consumer Proxy is available for configuration in "Application Communications" under the specific service group, but the service group is empty, only the service group exists (that the service group exists, showed me that the WAR project has been touched during deployment, so again no mistake here). So I checked again if the reference is visible in the project and it is. Furthermore I opened the Single Service Administration and searched for the specific consumer proxy. Again it is not visible. During the whole process I don't get any errors and also the logs seem to be clean.
The curiosity is, that if I create a Java WebDynPro Project and use a Model related to the same WSDL File, the Consumer Proxy is created.
PS: I have done it the same way as it is documented in the NetWeaver AS Java 7.3 Documentation on "Consuming WebServices".
Hopefully someone can show me where my fault is or where other log files are that log something about the deployment process.

I am facing a strange problem.Since i dont have administrator and j2ee_admin password i have tried to activate super admin SAP* from configtool.
But on loggin in with sap* it is not allowing me to login to portal nor it is giving User authentication failed error message.
I am being redirected to the same screen after giving user id and password and clicking logon button.

Note, that the check uses solely the request attributes, which contain

requests is not considered during the check, this means it is not
checked whether a real collision with the Support Package content
exists. Therefore, the check result and the list of yet to be imported
transport requests is only a recommendation which can be ignored and
skipped.
If you want to import the transport requests, just use the button "TMS
Import-Queue" to jump directly to the import queue of the Transport
Management System.

However the list with requests that is following contains requests whic are (at least some ) already imported into this (productive!!) system. How to deal with that?

I installed saprouter:
I created directory "C:\saprouter" and copied there files from an running saprouter(it is not the newes version but proven).
I issued command "C:\saprouter\ntscmgr install SAPRouter u2013b c:\saprouter\saprouter.exe u2013p u201Cservice u2013ru201D" successfully.
I also let to service to run under currrent user "sadmin" and to be "automatic". Under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE->SYSTEM->CurrentControlSet->Services->Eventlog->Application, I created the key saprouter and define the following values under it:
EventMessageFile (REG_SZ): c:\saprouter\saprouter.exe
TypesSupported (REG_DWORD): 0x00000007(7)
When trying to start service I get popup screen saying:
u201CCould not start the SAProuter service on Local Computer. Error 1053 : The service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion.u201D

All my SRM applications works fine except the SUS (bsp application). I followed the below link
