since two days I'm trying to download the trial version of NetWeaver CE 7.3 and the download site (http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/nw-ce-downloads) says that it's offline and that the download will be back as soon as possible.

So, I really need this package. Is there anything to do? Another mirror or something like this? Or can someone say how long "as soon as possible" is?

I've already searched the discussions and I found a direct link, but this download stops at 50% (maybe that's the reason why it is offline at all...).

Can I follow the procedure below even if my sap log drive is full? I tried it the first time before when the log drive is full, I detach the database and got error that the detach was not successful since a drive is full.

My issue is I am facing an sap log drive full and did a shrink but does not change the file space after. I tried thrice the shrinking, and the available free space in SQL becomes low every time I do a shrink and still  in 0%.

We had a requirement where we had to install NW portal 7.3  on the physical host which is done successfully.

but now there is need to change the physical host name by logical hostname.

Reinstallation not possbile as the system is live.

what are the steps to replace physical hostname with logical(  both have same IP, as per the nslookup).

I'm writing a C++ windows program to connect to one or more SAP Server(s) from  a non-SAP environment. I used the nwrfcsdk from the package NWRFC_9-20004566.SAR

I succesfully connect to a Sap Server using the sapnwrfc.ini or passing all the parameters in the array taken by the function RfcOpenConnection in case of direct application server logon ( i.e. ASHOST and SYSNR ) but I have big problem using the load balancing parameters (i.e. MSHOST, MSSERV,  R3NAME or SYSID and GROUP).

Fom the SAP GUI 720 (final realase) for windows i succesfully connect to the group, but as soon as the RfcOpenConnection tries to connect to the Group I received the following error:

Unhandled exception at 0x781449d1 (msvcr80.dll) in TestLoadBalancing.exe: 0xC0000005: Access violation reading location 0x00000002.

The problem is the same using the sample provided by SDK itself. Note both my program and the sample can succesfully without any problem using the same ini file.

The patch ATL security patch MS09-035 for the msvcr80 is alreay present on the machine.

Is there any knon issue about this ?

File 'rfcexec.sec' contains only one row:

USER=test_user, SYSID=BW7, CLIENT=100, PATH='/usr/sap/G03/SYS/exe/run'

In trace-file I 've received the error: Error: Line no. 1 contains invalid parameter.

Note 1581595 - rfcexec and startrfc missing after upgrade

it speaks about format of parameter 'PATH', but isn't clearly for me:

"File file extension must be entered in PATH if the command of the ABAP system contains the file extension."

Please help me to understand the format of rfcexec.sec file!!!

Did anybody already use SAP Mobile Documents with PUBLIC SHARING repository? I have problems with configuring this type repository because manual of this part is very poor.

There is written:

"For the PUBLIC SHARING scenario, the service user must have an account in the SAP NetWeaver Cloud. For

And there is no information what I should do with this account? What is the further steps? How to configure destination to this cloud?

My task is to configure our Archive link. we have a backup-Server with a Special Folder which has a user and a Password. now SAP should save all outgoing documents from ordering into this Folder.

for example our Server has the IP 192.168.99.99 an the Folder is \SAP\Archive\

how can i find out, what the right port is to the IP adress? i think i read anywhere that it should be 8080 in Standard, is that right?

i configured the Content repository as following:

http-script: ContentServer/ContentServer.dll  <-- i don't think that's right. what must be there?! SAP says something about a program. what do they mean?

Hi SCN folks,

We have list of custom objects locked into TR,released the TR and taken the backup of data file and cofiles.

After the above step all the objects created above are deleted (manually) and locked into another TR called deletion TR.

Now we have re-imorted the first TR which conatins all the objects usng data file and co-file into same system.

Now TRS imported sucessfully but objects are not identified into system.

Is there anyprocess required from basis side to refersh.

I have Netweaver BW 7.00 (SPS28) and NW RFC 7.20 gateway instance, where registered the program DI_BW7. Try to connect BW and Data services 4.0. RFC-connection on Data Services is OK. SM59 test of connection DI_BW7 is OK.

When I update the 3rd-party (in RSA1) the system take an error: (screeschot)

Error: Function BAPI_ISOURCE_DP_GETPARDEF not found.

This BAPI in SE37 is OK. It's works.

I registered program_id in rfcexec (SAP NW RFC 7.20) by command:

rfcexec -a DI_BW7 -g bw7 -x sapgw00 -s BW7 -f rfcexec.sec -t

By the way, rfcexec.sec contains:

USER=BW_USER,SYSID=BW7,CLIENT=100,PATH=/usr/sap/G03/SYS/exe/run

USER=ALEREMOTE,SYSID=BW7,CLIENT=100,PATH=/usr/sap/G03/SYS/exe/run

Trace file contains the next:

Currently i have some problems with the destinations that are used by aRFC2 models in a WebDynpro Java application.

That problem that we have is that after some days, suddenly in the log i can see that the JCo can't be created because max limit was reached.

And after this even after the sessions are closed (thinking that the current sessions will be removed from the pool) , it doesn't work anymore.

And only way to solve the problem is to re-create them.

The destinations are maintained from NWA Destinations : Destinations.

This is how the destinations were defined:

Dear all,

We are setting up Diaster recover  (DR ) where we are doing the mirror copy of the Source System to Target System.

After mounting all the files in Target DR System, i made the following changes in Target System.

OS: AIX

Dual stack System(ABAP +JAVA)

Instance number used :

00--ASCS00

02-- DVEBMGS02

01--SCS01

03--D03 -------------------------------------------------------------------------->  It is maintained in another DR Server

Database Used: Oracle

a)renamed the Profiles (/usr/sap/KBP/SYS/profile).

b)Changed the dbenv files (/home/kbpadm)  and (/home/orakbp)

c)set right permissions in all files and folders in /usr/sap.

d)Oracle is running and DB is also up

e)Started the profiles using sapcpe

e)After switching user (sidadm), Started the SAP Applications and SAP applications are up.

When i checked the GetProcess list according to instance wise, i am getting below output.

I have a problem when using WebService Proxies as a Consumer. The Consumer Proxies does not seem to be deployed. I'm using NetWeaver AS Java 7.3 and NWDS.

I did the following:

1.) Create a Development Component WAR and EAR

2.) Create the dependency in EAR Project to War Project

3.) Import a WSDL-File into WAR Project

4.) Created the Client Code from the WSDL-File for using the WebService in my Code (in this step I tried different variants, from slider on "develop" up to "test" - nothing different happened)

5.) Created a Service reference of the WebService, such that I can configure it in the NWA

6.) Build and deployed the EAR Project

After that I opened NWA and looked up if the Consumer Proxy is available for configuration in "Application Communications" under the specific service group, but the service group is empty, only the service group exists (that the service group exists, showed me that the WAR project has been touched during deployment, so again no mistake here). So I checked again if the reference is visible in the project and it is. Furthermore I opened the Single Service Administration and searched for the specific consumer proxy. Again it is not visible. During the whole process I don't get any errors and also the logs seem to be clean.

The curiosity is, that if I create a Java WebDynPro Project and use a Model related to the same WSDL File, the Consumer Proxy is created.

PS: I have done it the same way as it is documented in the NetWeaver AS Java 7.3 Documentation on "Consuming WebServices".

Hopefully someone can show me where my fault is or where other log files are that log something about the deployment process.

There're SAP BW system 7.31 and SAP NW Java 7.3 both installed in the same server but with different SIDs. Java instance used BW system as source for UME. On the Java instance there're some WDJ applications used web-services from BW system. Also in Java portal there're some WDA applications included.

The problem is I got error "401 unauthorized" if I try to use "Logon Ticket" variant of Authentification in destination templates for webservices. Destination templates work only with "User ID/Password" variant. Another problem is system show me logon screen of SAP system  when I called WDA application from portal, despite system for BW with auth. type "SAP Logon ticket" have created in portal System landscape. Also the last of three connection tests for this system results with error - something like "Unable to establish connection. Make sure that all connection properties and user assignings are correct" (this is approximate translation since the error message displayed not in English...).

My user is active and has same login in both systems.
