SM21: Transaction termination 00 148 ( )

Hello,

 

on a ECC 6.0 system (windows/maxdb) in systemlog SM21 I get message "Transaction termination 00 148 ( )" every five minutes.

I can't locate a job, which is causing this error message.

 

In /usr/sap/SID/DVEBMGS00/work there aren't any notifications in dev_* files.

Systemlog SM21 tells as additional documentation fro message 00 148:

User not in validity date. Please inform administrator.

No documentation exists for message 00148

 

What can I do to get more informations to solve the problem? Does anybody know a solution?

SAP PI 740 Dual stack system Upgrade by SUM

Hello Colleagues,

 

I have 740 PI system(ABAP+JAVA) currently at SPS01. We need to upgrade it to SPS02.

 

I upgraded the ABAP part from SPS01 to SPS02 by disabling java part(Making it as pure ABAP system), created xml for ABAP part and upgraded the same with SUM successfully.

 

Now i activated the java part and now i want to upgrade Java stack also to SPS02.

 

Is is possible to upgrade Java stack only in Dual Stack(ABAP+JAVA) system separately when ABAP stack is already upgraded??? I have generated xml for java stack but that stack is not working.

 

As this is 740 system so JSPM is obsolete. Please do not suggest about JSPM.

 

Is is possible in SUM to upgrade dual stack system as from 740 system there is no concept of Dual Stack(Dual stack split tool is there)? And also please suggest now what should i do as i already upgraded ABAP stack.

How to create an SSL Certificate with my companies CA Certificate? (J2EE 7.2)

When creating an SSL private key and certificate request from the NWA of a 7.2 J2EE server, it creates the key and certificate with an issuer name of the server. I need the issuer name to be the level 3 CA of my company.

 

Is there documentation to explain how I can do this?

Access 2 different SAP systems from SAP GUI

Hi,

I have a work computer using which I access various types of SAP systems (Dev, Test, Prod, CRM, BI, Solman etc.).

I have a need to access a 3rd party system (no relation to work) to learn something new.

When I try to map the 3rd party's server credentials (IP and Instance number) in the existing SAP GUI and access it, it does not work. It errors out claiming that the service is not recognized.

 

How do I go about accomplishing this if at all possible?

I am not a basis person and so not very familiar with various dll files that influence it.

sapjco3.dll: Can't find dependent libraries

Hello

 

We have been using JCo2 for quite some time. Now we are going to use JCo3. I wrote a small Java application to run one RFC via JCo3. My application runs on Windows 7.

 

Error message:

Error getting the version of the native layer: java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError: C:\Program Files (x86)\JCo3\sapjco3.dll: Can't find dependent libraries

I can provide the complete stack trace if you want.

 

Does anybody know what are those dependent libraries?

 

Here is what I have done so far:

 

1) The installation.html included in the JCo3 download states 'Do not copy the sapjco3.dll...into...SysWOW64...'. So I created my own folder C:\Program Files (x86)\JCo3. (I have tried SysWOW as well. It makes no difference.) In my own folder I placed the sapjco3.jar and sapjco3.dll.

 

2) In Eclipse I added sapjco3.jar to the Java Build Path.

 

3) I installed the Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 C/C++ runtime libraries as described in note 684106 as per the instructions of the installation.html. I wish this would have added those dependent libraries.

 

4) At this point if I run my application I get a slightly different version of the error:

Error getting the version of the native layer: java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError: no sapjco3 in java.library.path

I resolved this problem by editing the 'Native library location' of the sapjco3.jar in Eclipse. After that I am stuck with the error stated above.

Hello

 

in newer spam I come into phase where

queue, are currently inactive in the system. In order to avoid inconsistencies
after the import, the import process can only be continued when these
objects are active again.

 

Proceed as follows:

  - Choose an object
with a double click to jump into the correspondi    maintenance
transaction.

- Use the version
management to compare the active and the inactive   versions of the
object.

 

 

   - If the versions are identical,activate the object.

 

 

   - If the versions are different, you have to identify the correct one.

Ceck what was
intended with the object change and involve the

 

 

     responsible for the change to find the correct object version.

- If the inactive
version is the correct one, activate the object.

 

- If the active version is the correct one, mark it in the version management and
choose the menu option "Versions" ->
"Retrieve".

Activate the object then.

 

- Repeat the import
phase when all the objects are activated. When no

more inactive
objects are found, the import is continued.

Honestly I do not undeerstand this. When the active(SAP) version is the correct and i "Retrieve".and activate it I am asked for an transport request.

Then I am warned (in next phase) the same object " was repaired in this system" and I have to delete repair flag.

 

 

I do not understand this. Does someone undarstand this?

I got this message when installing SAP NW 731.

Can you help me?

SAP NetWeaver 7.3 > Oracle > SAP Systems > Application Server ABAP > Standard System > Standard System( Last error reported by the step:

CDATA[ERROR] gone with SWPM

Hi experts,

 

It seems that with SWPM the good old tip of changing [CDATA[ERROR]] to [CDATA[OK]] to bypass an error is not available anymore.

On a failed step I was not able to find a [CDATA[ERROR]] tag in the keydb.xml file.

Did you notice the same behavior, does anyone find what is the new tag for error ?

Hi all,

 

does anybody know if there is an overwiew for the support packages included in a stack?

Or in example: Which support packages are included in Netweaver 7.3 SPS 9 or i.e. ERP 6.0 EHP6 SPS 8.

 

For installations there is note 789220 which mentions this, but I could not find any information for support package stacks.

SAP HCM/Active Directory synchronization

Hi,

 

I am trying to integrate SAP R/3 (master database) to Active Directory.

And Active Directory will be used by rest all systems.Adding of new employee is done at SAP HCM and the same data should be created in Active Directory.

 

I went through couple of forum threads but did not get the solution,

Pause active job

Hi Gurus.

Is it possible to pause an active job? Some of our jobs take a long time to run. We want to pause them to enable freeing the processes for some other jobs.

I know we can capture it, but that does not free the process which we want.

Using CMS, is it possible?

SAPUI5 component upgradtion error in ECC 6.0 EHP5

Hi Experts,

 

While upgrade the UI5 components with the help of STACK.XML file in ECC system(ERP6EHP5).

 

System details:

 

ECC6.0 EHP5

SP level ->702-0007 (basic components)

SQL server -> 2008

 

We are getting the errors.

 

If the job is running in Dialog mode the below error is occured.

Note: We have increase the "rdisp/max_wprun_time" to 3600,after that also same issue we are facing.

 

If the job is running in background the below error is occured.

While upgrading UI5 component in background mode,same screen is repeating.

 

Please help me to resolve the issue.

CHECK_INACT_OBJECTS phase of SPAM 49 and note note 1853036 vs SPAM50

Hello

 

I had serious problem (need of restore) after import patches with SPAM49 as I did not have implemented note

1853036 (due to program error in CHECK_INACT_OBJECTS phase of SPAM 49)

 

Now I have to import an SPS on QAS another landscape (and I am terribly scared after nightmare on another landscape)

 

I know first time it was a DEV system  and in this landscape I should not have problem as SPAM49 passed in DEV system

(but still an development could be present on QAS also...)

I wander, if I implement SPAM50 now how will I know no problem with SPAM50(especially as "newly born)

 

So I wander what to do, to be sure (this QAS is almost as production). I guess best is implement note 1853036 and use "tested" SPAM49 or?

Restful Webservice on Application Server Java

Hi,

i'm trying to create Restful Webservices on the Netweaver Java Application Server with JAX-RS.

The Classes are annotated correctly.

Problem with Kernel upgrade

Hello

 

We were upgrading the SAP Kernel 720 from 201 to 402. We have shut down the application and the SAP services and replaced the old kernel directory with the new one.

 

But when we tried to start the application and services we found two issues

 

1. Service SAPDAA_97 is not starting.

2. Disp+work is yellow and says " Runnig but dialog queue information unavailable"

 

Applicationis up and running but we have above issues and also if we check the kernel version in status it says 201 while the disp+work command says 401.

 

Also there is new sapstartsrv file in kernel dir which is generally the cause of this error.

 

Please assist as quickly as possible.

virtual hostname for failover cluster

Hi All,

I am planning to install sap ERP 6.0 SR3 on microsoft failover cluster 2008 r2. I have read installation document in the networking part which i understand is there

 

 

would be one cluster group which is configured with virtual ip x when i fire command ipconfig i am able to see that virtual ip in ipconfig but not in faiover manager.

As mentioned in the installation guide we have to use two more virtual ip's for sapcluster group and dbcluster group. My N/W administrator has provided me two ips say

 

 

y and z stating that it is virtual ip and asked you can take watever hostname you want. Keeping standards in mind i have given the name in host file.

My prod planning some what like this 2 nodes node1 and node2, but all the cluster disk is in node2 so no other choice rather than installing ASCS and db in one node

 

 

(node2) and ci in another node

I would be using swpm for installing

And istallation would go somewhat like this...

installing oracle s/w and osf in both the node locally

oracle-->ha-->first cluster node, db, add.., ci,  di

My query is

what virtual host should i use while running first cluster node?

what virtual host should i use while running DB?

 

 

I mean while firing command sapinst.exe USE_SAPINST_HOST_NAME=<VIRTUAL HOST>

 

 

And what i understand from inst guide and description given in sapinst.exe is we dont have to use virtual host name while processing additonal configuration and we can

 

 

use physical hostname while installing ci and di

 

 

Kindly advice how should i proceed.

DDIC CL_SWNC_COLLECTOR_DB==========CP Update on SWNCMONI

Hi All,

 

in our productive ERP system we observer a strange behaviour since a few days:

 

- Serveral processes under user DDIC --> Report CL_SWNC_COLLECTOR_DB==========CP --> rapidly updating table SWNCMONI

- Massive changes on the DB leading to massive log switches and creation of numerous archive logs --> more than 400MB per minute

 

I already checked the following OSS:

 

- 1578639 --> implemented - no effect

- 1631033 --> not implemented --> does anyone have any experience with this?

 

Any Idea how i can get these processes under control?

Disp+work.exe not starting?

Hi All,

 

System Details:

Win server 2003,

MaxDB

ABAP Trial version 2004.

 

I have checked port 3200, i have checked computer name which is not exceeding 20 chars, i have no firewall installed.

 

whenever i start computer, first thing comes notice as ..

 

mySAP.com encountered error and needed to be closed.

 

after starting sapmmc, msg server comes with green light but disp+work.exe comes as stopped.

 

I searched on net for options and tried everything but still disp+work.exe not woking.

 

Is it due to windows server 2003 internet issue??? or something else...

 

please help me out....
