$

Hi, I have problems while installing new license key on my NSP demo system. Is not the first time I've done it.

I have to logged in with SAP* because license has expired.

Go to transaction SLICENSE and, after requesting new license key, next error appears when trying to install it.

This system's system number is "000000000311048508", but there is a license key for system number "000000000311107510" in the license key file.

Does anyone how to proced in order to install it correctly?

Thanks.

Hi,

SAP Router is working with cmd prompt and am able to connect to SAP also.

When trying to create a windows service using the below command, the system is showing the syntax of scmgr.

C:\SAProuter>ntscmgr install SAProuter -b C:\SAProuter\saprouter.exe -p "service  -r -R C:\SAProuter\saprouttab -W 60000 -K p:CN=SAProuter CA, OU=SAProuter, O=SA P, C=DE"

Kindly help.

LSMW - Creation Project/WBS with BAPI or Idoc

$

Hi SDN,

is there anybody who was succesful in creating Projects and WBS structures with BAPI or Idoc?

I tried it with BAPI and the follwing parameters

Business Object  BUS2054
Method           SAVEREPLICA
Message Type     PROJECT
Basic Type       PROJECT01

This ends with an error that SAVEREPLICA is not allowed in this context. I should use CREATE, but CREATE can not be entered in the parameters.

I tried Idoc with the follwing parameters

Message Type     PROJECT
Basic Type       PROJECT01
Enhancement

X Allow Structure Assignment for EDIDC40

This finaly terminates with the same error as the BAPI.

I would really like to use a standard SAP tool to migrate Projects/WBS-Structures. Was anybody succesful in this and can give a short documentation to the SDN community?

Best regards

Stefan

SAP doesn't start (only manually)

Hi,

What is happend: after a simple ST-A/PI update I restarted SAP (DEV). On an other system (QAS) I restarted the whole system. Just a simple restart .. not a bit of it! After the restart, I started the DB and tried to start SAP via MMC, but the MMC just showed the Process List and Access Points and SAP doesn't came up!

Windows 2008 R2 SP1

Oracle 11.2.0.4

SAP ERP 6.07 (nuc)

So I restarted the Service SAP<SID>_00, nothing changed.

I reinstalled it, nothing.

In the work directory the sapstartsrv.log shows the following entries, nothing to worry about:

So I checked also:

- Environment variables

- Filesystem accessibility

- Windows Events

- reinstalled Redistributable Package

- Kernel Update 741.47

- MMC Update

If I start the SAP system manually, I get the system without any problems up:

D:\usr\sap\<SID>\SYS\exe\nuc\NTAMD64\sapcpe.EXE pf=\\<HOST>\sapmnt\<SID>\SYS\profile\<SID>_DVEBMGS00_<HOST>
D:\usr\sap\<SID>\SYS\exe\nuc\NTAMD64\strdbs.cmd <SID>

D:\usr\sap\<SID>\DVEBMGS00\exe\igswd.EXE -mode=profile pf=\\<HOST>\sapmnt\<SID>\SYS\profile\<SID>_DVEBMGS00_<HOST>

The strange thing is, after I don't find anything about it, I tried a restart on an other system and guess what, exactly the same problem!

No error messages in the logs .. and a manual start works.

I think the SAPSTARTSRV service doesn't start properly without any error messages!

So, does anyone got an idea? Maybe it's just simple and I don't get it. I just want to ask you before I open an OSS message ..

Thanks!

Best regards,

Tobias

printing, SPAD, printer short name + transports systemlandscape

$

how do other customers work with the field printer short name (Table: TSP03L)  ?

are all printers in your landscape 100% identically configured (including the generated printer short name) ?

note:   we are not using Printing Assistant for Landscapes (PAL)

the case:

unfortunately (we did not have 100% identically configured printer through all systems)

we do some customizing action (in our dev system) with selection of a (printer long name) printer to a customizing function.

(within internal logic the selected printer long name "TPA4711" will be translated into a (generated) printer short name eg "P059")

and after that, this customizing will be transported (with that printer short name eg "P059") to QS-system and prod-system,

in QS-system we have a different printer connected to that used printer short name "P059",

so the transport of that customizing changes the used printer to another printer long name

from printer short name "P059" to an unwanted other printer e.g. "TPW7877"

is there any functionallity to translate printer-names or printer-short-names during TMS, or when executing transports in the next system?

are there any SAP-reports to synchronize that printer short name through several systems ?

SAP Web Dispatcher 7.41(Standalone) multiple backends

I am using in our DMZ, SAP Web Dispatcher 7.41 patch 49. I have opened multiple OSS messages with zero success thus far.  I currently have an OSS message open to HAN-AS-XS.

Three of my backend systems are ABAP and "webdisp/system_3" is BW on HANA (HDB 1.00) XS Engine is active.

I have created four unique URL's and I need to these to open various services on the application layer.

icm/server_port_0    = PROT=HTTPS,PORT=443,TIMEOUT=60,PROCTIMEOUT=600

webdisp/system_0     = SID=PRM,MSHOST=sap0bb.ux,MSSPORT=81bb,SRCSRV=webdisp1:443
webdisp/system_1     = SID=BID,MSHOST=sap0cc.ux,MSSPORT=81cc,SRCSRV=webdisp2:443
webdisp/system_2     = SID=PRE,MSHOST=sap0dd.ux,MSPORT=80dd,SRCSRV=webdisp3:443
webdisp/system_3     = SID=HID,XSSRV=http://:hanadl....:80ee,PINGURL="/public/ping",SRCSRV=webdisp4:443

No matter which URL I use and the Web dispatcher is sending the browser session to "webdisp/system_0"

I have these two parameters set in my DMZ Web dispatcher profile.
wdisp/system_conflict_resolution = 2
wdisp/ssl_ignore_host_mismatch=1

I can telnet to all the designated ports and use the SAP Web Dispatchers browser and make call's via Web GUI to the backends.

What am I missing in the profile to make this work?

Cheers,

Dan Mead

Hi All,

Upon fresh installation of ECC 6.0 EPH7 and then I did a client copy, but upon checking ST02, it seems most of my buffers are low not close to 100 at all (Screenshot below).

Buffer_No_good.JPG

I tried to play around with

rsdb/ntab/irbdsize

rsdb/ntab/entrycount

to tweak my initial records but still very low and does not seems to improve,

any steps where I should start beginning to troubleshot?

Thank you,

Dear Experts,

I installed SAP ERP ECC 6.0 EhP7 IDES lately. Installation number is automatically generated , but which is different from the installation number given in support portal. So when i am trying to generate access key for developer,  it generates access key for the installation number given in support portal. Is it possible to change the installation number? Kindly suggest some solutions.

Thanks in advance.

SDM: Cleanup of old SCA's (SDM root directory keeps growing)

$

Hi,

I was wondering is somebody in this community has found a way to keep the SDM directory in check ?

We use a lot of development / test systems and are keeping them up to date with SPS releases.

As such, the SDM root directory now has several GB. It contains now over 10 versions of the same component.

If one could easily cleanup the older BASE-J2EE components (especially adobe) then it would not grow as such. The base-components are always complete, so there is no need to keep the older versions.

I've searched help, oss and sdn but did not find any solution for it.

As one way to reduce it, i've created a script to recreate the whole SDN root from scratch, but it is not optimal.

Greetings,

Ed.

SAP ERP 6.0 Ehp4 Upgrade to Ehp6 on RED HAT Linux 5.5 / Oracle - Distrbuted Installation

$

Hi Everybody,

in our company, we are planning to upgrade our SAP ERP systems from version 6.0 Ehp4 on Netweaver 7.0 Ehp1 to Ehp6 on Netweaver 7.0 Ehp3. Our landscape consists of 3 systems (Development - Quality - Productive) and our type of installation is distributed which means we have 3 sap application servers and 3 database servers. All the systems (application servers + database servers) run on RED HAT Linux Enterpise Edition 5.5. Oracle Version is 11.2.0.3 Enterprise Edition.

As I have seen on service.sap.com/pam, SAP ERP 6.0 Ehp6 on Netweaver 7.0 Ehp3 runs with SAP Kernel versions 720EXT-721EXT, that are not supported for RHEL 5.5. So our first step is to upgrade the operating system to RHEL 6. The question is if we can avoid upgrade the operating system of our Database Servers as Oracle 11.2.0.3 is ok and upgrade the O.S of SAP Applications Servers only.

Thank you in advance

Primary application server migration.

Hi Experts,

Our current existing ECC server has Database Instance and Central services Instance on one host which is clustered with the primary application server is on another host. Both are installed on AIX 6.1 OS.

Now we need to migrate the existing Primary application server from AIX to Windows server 2012, but the Central instance and Database instance will remain on AIX itself, kindly let me know is it possible ? How should I proceed?

Web dispatcher publication issue

We have a problem with publication through web dispatcher, here's the configuration:

wdisp/system_conflict_resolution = 1
wdisp/system_0 = SID=SD01, MSHOST=sd01.domain.com, MSPORT=8100, SRCVHOST= alias01.domain.com
wdisp/system_1 = SID=SD01, MSHOST=sd02.domain.com, MSPORT=8100, SRCVHOST= alias02.domain.com

icm/server_port_0 = PROT=HTTP,HOST=WEBDISPATCHER,PORT=80
icm/server_port_1 = PROT=HTTP,HOST=localhost,PORT=81$$

When we try to access with Internet explorer from internet the logon mask force us to use logon through popup, and it redirect us to an url with "sap-system-login-basic_auth=X" and return a 404, but if we use mozilla we have a normal logon and it works fine.

Mozilla url:
http://alias01.domain.com/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/webgui?sap-client=001
Explorer url:
http://alias01.domain.com/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/webgui?sap-system-login-basic_auth=X&sap-client=001

If we try to access it from the LAN with the real name of the machine even in Explorer we haven't any problem.

Could you please help us to understand what means the url "sap-system-login-basic_auth=X" and how to remove it from all the browser.

Thanks.

I want you use the same transport directory for two differente landscapes (ERP and BW). The domain controllers for both landscapes are in the same server, where there's also the transport directory:

server1: ERP DEV, BW DEV (both domain controllers)

server2: ERP PRD

server3: BW PRD

I'm able to perform the TMS configuration using two different transport domain, however, the file DOMAIN.CFG gets overwritten (located in /usr/sap/trans/bin) when performing the second TMS configuration (for landscape BW). Is this file necessary for performing Import transport? I'm checking the configuration and It seems fine.

I've seen that It's got some information, like Instance Number, SID and, etc.

Regards,

JAM
