Hi All, Recently i upgrade our portal to 7.4 SP07. During the upgrade the additional component MDM catalog content also been updated to SRM-MDM CATALOG 3.0 NW7.3. when i started testing the MDM connection from portal i got version mismatch error(file filed a crc check(0x8002000e)). So now the option is to un-deploy 3.0 NW7.3 and deploy the old software component SRM-MDM CATALOG 3.0 which is used in NW7.01 to NW7.4. I un-deployed the SRM_MDM_CAT using telnet and try to use same SUM/telnet option to deploy the 3.0 software i got the below attached error. Please help to solve this issue and appreciate your help. With this profile configuration we can access portal locally using the URL: http://WD_HOSTNAME:8185 but we can't access portal externally using the public IP address and 8185 port.

Through WD webadmin GUI the application server monitor shows the server OK

But through console with command sapwebdisp.exe pf="<location of profile file>" -checkconfig we get the error

Checking J2EE servers with URL "/index.html":

Checking J2EE server http://<PORTAL HOST>:50000...not active - IGNORED

We think the problem accessing from the outside is related with the error "IGNORED".

Can anybody helps us.

I went to C:\usr\sap\NSP\UninstSAP.exe.

We notice space issue on our SAP System and see usr/sap/../SYS/global has job log related files occupying huge space.

The files are not older than a week. In a day, we see more than 50 files getting written of which many of the files cross more than 1 GB in a single day. Now we already checked the REORG* jobs and are running fine, it is obvious as GLOBAL directory does not have files older than a week.

My question is, what could cause this directory to flood with so many files in a single day occupying GBs of data together causing space crunch !?

Hi all,

I have an issue with Barcode archiving. When I check the box "Cancel" in OAC5 I expect that the user can't cancel the Barcode Popup. But it doesn't work as I expected.

The user has the possibilty via X Button to cancel this Popup. See Screenshot this Button is active.

Customized is OAC0, OAC2, OAC3 and OAC5. Did I forgot something?

I m working on JMS in SAP MII 12.2. I m trying to Asynchronously Receiving Messages Sent to a Topic following the example at, http://help.sap.com/saphelp_erp60_sp/helpdata/en/20/4cf81d8ff54c5588cb7e000cae6467/frameset.htm. I m writing a standalone Java Code and have added following jars to build path :

But I m getting following exception,
com.sap.engine.services.jndi.persistent.exceptions.NoPermissionException: Exception during getInitialContext operation. Wrong security principles/credentials

We are attempting to create some Web Service proxy objects from some WSDL files. Some of the WSDL files contain message definitions with multiple parts such as

I've read in sdn forums http://forums.sdn.sap.com/thread.jspa?threadID=47335 that I should change the message definition to be Basic Profile conformant, for example:

Try defining a complex type for the subelements, then define an wrapper element to use that complex type, and finally let the message part to refer to the wrapper element. Is this works?

I'm wondering if you have encountered this problem before, where you change the password for the user under OAAD, in our case it's called photouser HTTP:401 Unauthorized occurs, and the user locks after a few tries of uploading the photo a few times. I can't figure out where else I need to put this new password besides in the SICF default_host/bc/sap/contentserver.

Any ideas guys? I'm pretty new to this OAAD, OAC0 thing. Just to note, we are using SAP System Database for this and not an external content server.

I tried to migrate Legacy data to SAP in LSMW using IDoc method. I am trying to input Journal Voucher Entry by using T-Code: F-02.

I have two import structure-S1 & S2. and two source files:1st file will consist of header data

2nd file will have line data.

The unique id key is "AC_DOC_NO" in both structures.

How do I upload these two files.?

When we specify file..there is only one file to be uploaded.Then how can I upload these two files.?

When it reads data, it throws an error "Identification specifications missing for source structure-1"

What does it means.??

Export of my conversion unicode is completed and import is in the step of "Run abap report" o SWPM but this step can't to do that, because sap is not running

The SAP Business Objects server does exist in SMSY and LMDB. The Tomcal server that is associated with it exists in the SLD, but the Business Objects Server itself does not.

Not every product instance is marked as 'Diagnostics-Relevant'. Is this what the above help message is referring to? If so, do I need to mark them all as 'Diagnostics-Relevant'? is this safe to do?
