Further Details

==============

Had chosen to split tables before copy and had also executed SMIGR_CREATE_DDL report prior to DB export with target - Oracle DB.

Copied the resultant .SQL files into Export_dump/ABAP/DB directory.

After getting the error, and reading the guides and the posts on SCN , I copied the .SQL files into ABAP/DB/ORA directory as well and then restarted the Import again for the failed packages, but the import fails again.

Any clues/ suggestions would really be helpful.

Prashant

The heap size has already been increased till 4096.

The shared pool is already been increased:

The system is Dual Stack. Version of the JAVA AS server is 730

"Tiles cannot be displayed" error in Fraud Management web ui

Hi, I'm trying to setup Fraud Management SP1 on NetWeaver. We done all steps from Fraud Management 1.1 SP01 (on SAP HANA) installation guide, but still have a small problem. When I logged to the application through Web UI client and opened one of available tiles I got the error “Tiles cannot be displayed; contact your system administrator”.

tiles.png

I checked all OData services and authorizations, especially FRA_PERSONAL_SETTINGS_SRV. Looks like all of them are fine. I checked ICM logs, but there is nothing about this problem.

Is there are any logs that can help to resolve this issue?

thanks a lot for the helpful info.

400 Session not found in web dynpro Java apps

$

Hello,

I am aware that many questions related to same "400 Session not found" have been asked/discussed in many threads on SCN.

To name a few: -

Re: 400 session not found : Failed to process the request

parallel login to nwa of netweaver 7.3

webdynpro application -400 Session Not Found-Failed to process the request: Request refers to an unknown session

SAP Notes seen:

1464914 - JSESSIONID cookie value is unexpectedly changed by the server

1395551 - Global configuration of session cookies

My Portal version : CE7.3 EHP1 SP9

However, I wanted to ask some more questions and share my observations and seek your opinion: -

1. I have observed that this error (attached screenshot) comes when: -

        a.  I open any Web Dynpro java application, (be it Content Admin, User Admin or any of my custom Web Dynpro Java app) and keep it idle for some              30-40 seconds.

        b. And then I click on any link/actionable UI on these idle application.

2. From these threads, I also understand that this is normal behavior as application has expired due to long idle time and session cookie sent to server is invalid. Fair enough.

3. But our end users are not happy to see such error trace page and its causing lot of incidents/complaints.

Is there any way to: -

     A. Make Portal server to accept request coming from such timed-out/idle application?

     B. Replace this error page with something more descent page?

Thanks & Regards,

Amey Mogare

Setting global level Portal timeout of 4 hours

$

Hello,

We want to establish a global level timeout of 4 hrs for Portal.

For example, lets say a user logs onto Portal and do not perform any action/clicks for 4 hours.

And then, after 4 hours, when user click on any tab/link on Portal, it should show "session expired" or "session timed out" or something similar message.

Could you please advise how this can be achieved?

Thanks & Regards,

Amey Mogare

PS:

But any action performed within this 4 hours time, lets say user logs onto Portal at 3.00pm and performs first action/click at 4.00pm, it should work and timeout/session-not-found message should not be shown.

This is well handled & is working fine for us using information from thread400 Session not found in web dynpro Java apps

Employee Portal sessions and cookies

Hello colleagues,

We have implemented a new webdypro abap as part of our Employee Self Service Portal (for employees can see a letter with result of their appraisals).
In some of our factories more than one user use the same computer for access to the Employee Portal. When a user (employee A) log into the portal can access to the new web dynpro and see their data, but when a new user (employee B) log back into the portal as a different user in the same computer and access to the web dynpro, the user (employee B) see the data of the previus user  (employee A), it seem that the second user is authenticated to the backend as the previous user.

It´s not the Portal expected behavior and it´s a serius issue for our company.  It´s a general case that we have reproduced with other web dynpro abap. We think it´s a problem with cookies because if the user close all internet explorer sessions and clean the cookies, it´s run properly.

The system version is  SAP NetWeaver 731.

Can SAP manage the cookies?  limiting the valid period of cookies? someone know any similar case?

How to bind CTS Projects with Transport target group?

Hello All,

We have a requirement that we want the transport target field to be automatically filled up during transport creation, depending on what project user chooses. The reason for this is we want to minimize errors related to transport creation and use projects as controlling factor.

I know how to create CTS projects but what i am not finding is linking Transport projects with Transport target groups/target systems so that we can handle multiple releases of development objects in different phases of development.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Issue with kernel upgrade (Disp+work stopped after couple minutes)

Hi Guys,

I'm running NW 7.0 IDES system with oracle 10.2 database in MS 2003 server. I picked up all the kernel files from Services market place for NW7.21 database independents files as well as Oracle kernel files and upgraded my NW7.0 with patch level 300 from 111. everything worked fine but when I started the MMC it's turned green but after couple minutes Disp+work (dispatcher stopped) and it happens every time I start my  MMC. It's basically just work for a minute.

After I troubleshoot for couple days, I put my old kernel back in which was 111 patch level that was working fine before I upgraded to 300, but now my old kernel has same issue. Its looks like there are some other problems in the system that cause this issue not my ne kernel.  I really need help to resolve this issue. please look at my developer trace and suggest me the right direction.

Thanks in advance

Push Notification Storage Details in ODATA?

Dear Experts,

We have developed a push notification application for sale order, and we also did subscription and it was successful we were able to see the entries in the sap table: /IWBEP/D_MGW_SUB.

But for push notification we were asked to create a custom report using the standard sap program: /IWBEP/R_MGW_PUSH_TEST, with reference to this program we were able to develop passing the technical group and technical version and sub collection. We executed the report and we came through that the notification is sent successfully, but we were not able to know where it has been stored in back end or in the sap net weaver gateway. So kindly help me out to trace how or where the push notification is stored and how to get it. if through SAP tables or Transaction etc..

Regards

Goudham
