What will be the impact on application? Where all we need to change the Password for proper functioning of application.

I have a JSF web application which I have deployed on the SAP NetWeaver Server 7.3 , but when trying to access the same I get the error
Cannot process an HTTP request to servlet [Faces Servlet] in [SecurePro] web application. [EXCEPTION] javax.servlet.ServletException: com.sap.engine.services.servlets_jsp.server.jsp.exceptions.CompilingException: Error in executing the compilation process: [ Compilation Failed! Exit Code=1
Has anybody else also got the same error earlier?, I am using Mojarra implementation for JSF.
I had earlier deployed the same application in an earlier JSF version and it worked on NWAS7.0 but Now I need to upgrade that, Please help

Our ECC landscape is migrating from Oracle / Windows 2008 R2 to Sybase / Red Hat Linux 6.4 64 bit &
However we have a lot many customer /vendor filesystems which are connected to our SPA system. Most of these are used to place data from other non SAP systems or EDI and in some cases invoices / PO's. These Filesystems are called via various function modules as and when the output files need to be placed in these Windows filesystems.
Our concern is how do we access these Filesystems from the target Linux system without significant codes changes in function modules where the paths are hard coded.
If we mount these Filesystems on the Linux box, they can accessed for sure, but this would mean lot of changes in the nomenclature [ forward slash "\" replaced by backward slash "/" ] in the path for these FS and also code changes for a lot of functional modules.
Could you share your experiences of how you managed the changes in FS during the OS/DB Migration process.

We need to retrieve data from an MS SQL Server inside a java application running on a SAP NetWeaver 7.3.1 AS (with an underlying Oracle DB). I downloaded the Microsoft-provided JDBC driver from here. After creating a new JDBC driver in NWA and uploading sqljdbc4.jar from the MS archive, I created a new custom JDBC data source using the newly created driver (Vendor SQL, isolation default, driver class "com.microsoft.sqlserver.jdbc.SQLServerConnectionPoolDataSource" and database URL "jdbc:sqlserver://<server_name>\<database_name>:<port>"). I'm quite sure user and password are o. k., but anyway the data source application fails to start.
So I decided to give the Open Source driver jTDS a try, downloaded from here, installed the driver jar (jtds-1.3.1.jar), created a new custom JDBC data source using the jtds driver (Vendor SQL, isolation default, driver class "net.sourceforge.jtds.jdbc.Driver" and database URL "jdbc:jtds:sqlserver://<server_name>:<port>/<database_name>"), but here, the application fails to start, too.
I created lots of custom JDBC data sources for Oracle DBs, using newly deployed JDBC drivers (not the System Driver) and those work fine.
Did anyone ever create a custom JDBC data source for MS SQL Server successfully? Which JDBC Driver jar would I have to use (and whete sould I retrieve it from) and how should I configure the data source ? Do I have to deploy other files, too ? Do I have to restart the server ?

I am currently stuck at the migration key. At the heterogeneous system copy screen stage -> Database load which is asking for a migration key. I always got the error -> wrong migration key and unable to proceed.
We registered the key at service.sap.com/migrationkey on the source system's installation no.
kindly advise any experience of such and any other possible solution or alternative. Thks

I have one service in SICF node. In this service, there is one handler class which takes care of the HTTP request made to this service.
Also under the tab "Error Pages", in "Logon Errors", I have opted for "System Logon" which is using custom implemented class "ZSR_ICF_SYSTEM_LOGIN". This is how I am handling login to SAP Netweaver system.
What I want to do is, on successful login, I want user to be redirected to another URL.

Our PI landscape is NW 7.11 sp 6 ABAP and JAVA together. We would like to update the support pack from 06 to 13. So we started to update with MPD system which is our PI Development system.
OS: WIN 2008 R2
DB: MS SQL 2008

We successfully updated ABAP support packages, but problem is occured while updating Java with JSPM. Here is the steps I have been gone through 1 to 9:
1. I downloaded all support packages from sap.service for NW 7.11 Support Package 13.
2. Opened JSPM and first updated JSPM
3. I chose Single Support Packages
4. It gave error for LM-TOOLS component which says ``REVISE - it does not pass validation check - Unresolved dependencies``
5. I deselect LM-TOOLS package and continued to deploy all other components, and left that component to import later.
6. It completed successfully to import all packages. Then I exited JSPM.
7. When I opened JSPM again, then it gave error that Java AS is not working.
8. When I check SAPMMC Java server is working and all system is green, but some AS Java components are not running like *nwa*.
9. Also it is not possible to reach on web. /nwa is not working it says ``503 service unavailable``

My opinion it seems like the missing item ibctstransportclient and deploying without LM-TOOLS component caused the error. How can I fix this? How can I find the item, and add it to where? and run JSPM while JAVA AS is not available?

1- login sap server using telnet
2 - starting with switching user to oraid1

The client has asked for additional BI functionality that is available as a result of this enhancement.
I have tried using the SAP innovation discovery tool but with no luck.

i need help with my "new" Problem during installation of SAP Netweaver, everything is ok until "Phase 21 of 24'" is reached,
here should the instance started, i receive this error:
"An error occurred while processing option SAP NetWeaver 7.0 including Enhancement Package 2 > SAP Application Server ABAP > MaxDB > Central System > Central System( Last error reported by the step :ABAP processes of instance NSP/DVEBMGS00 [ABAP: STARTING] did not start after 10:10 minutes. Giving up.)."
I can see in the SAPmmc that msg_server.exe ist started and is green, but disp+work.exe is yellow and have a status:
"Running but dialog queue stand still."
That all make me confuse, why is there a such big difference in 32 and 64bit installtion?
I have this problem only on windows 7 64bit. on 32bit windows i nave never problems with installation.
Can anyone help me here please?

i'm getting the following error
ABAP process of instance XXX (ABAP: unknown) did not start after 10.00 mins Giving up
But System is up and dispatcher and other process are active and running, R3trans -d was successful, dpmon is working fine.
sapinst_dev.log says the following error FC-00011 & CJS-30149. attached sapinst_dev log.
any solution would be a great help.....
