we are getting error while upgrading using SUM tool to EHP7 in phase XPRA_Execution.

Disp+work is running and status is green however we are unable to logon to the system as workprocesses status is empty.

we are getting the error message in DEV_W* as " PXA APG: skipping current run due to transport activities".

Kernel release 7.40 SP 37

message server is also working fine

I have a user who logged in system 3 days before., I could make out his last login thru Txn : RSUSR200"

I want to get which was terminal (host name / IP Addres) was used to login into the system.

STAD ...will give detailed info and aggregated into ST03N.

Now my Q is ...in ST03N where  we can see Terminal ID

( few months before, I collected similar info , but lost navigation from hands)

Need your help with the issue am facing.

We have installed a dual-stack (NW 7.0) system using export-import method. [export from source and installed target using system copy]

Installation completed successfully, but when i check, only ABAP stack is running fine and JAVA is not up.

When i check dev_jcontrol log, it says JDK not detected. (we are using Java 1.4.2_16 b05)

So we tried to execute jcontrol manually, the Java system came up. when the minute we close that command prompt window, the java processes are stopping.

No clue what to do? Jcontrol is not starting up automatically.

We are on Windows server 2008 R2 and Oracle 11.

Any insights would be highly appreciated.

2) Parralel processing

I reran the removal of 4 times. Total removed about 500 million entires from 1 200 billion

There are very few tables, but I think it is a large tables

Today we are going to teach you how can you configure the inital logon image in you sap logon, this is very handy to identify the system you are logged in to avoid unexpected transactions or changes.

This are the requiered steps you need to follow:

1. Select the image you want to configure in SAP GUI, try to use a small image because it can take some seconds to show in the screen.

for example:

2. Go to transaction SMW0, check Binary data for WebRFC applications and hit enter.

3. Hit the clock button

4. Clic on the white paper to create a custom repository.

5. Enter a name for the repository, for example ZLOGO. Then clic on import button.

6. Locate the image from the step 1.

7. If this message appears we need to maintain the Mimes. We can modify it in the same transaction page.

8. Now we create a new MIME Type using the white paper like image below and clic on save.

9. Now we repeat step 5 and 6.

10. We assign a proper package and create the transport request.

11. Now it appears our ZLOGO repository in the table.

12. Then we go to transaction SM30 and type the table SSM_CUST. Then clic on maintain.

13. Look for the entry START_IMAGE if not present the create a new entry. In the new entry in the column Value to be set enter the name of the repository created before. In this example ZLOGO and clic save.

14. Add this modification to the same transport request.

15. Log off and login again. The new image should be uploaded.

16. In case the image does not appear take a look at the SAP GUI personalization. You have to be sure this option is not selected.

We have one PI + NFE installed and everything was ok until the last weekend, when due to business requirements, we had to add a new certificate from a new company in the STRUST SSF NFESIG.

To use with one certificate is very simple, we just imported the PSE in the SSF NFESIG, but how can we add an additional one? Both of them should exist simultanously.

I have problem with my webdispatcher. I want use port 8060 as https port for my training netweaver portal.

When i accessed the URL with port 8060 from local network, the URL dispatched to my training portal, but when i access from internet 8060 the URL dispatched to my development portal [443].

I expect the URL dispatch to training portal when it accessed from local and internet.

i need a small guidance from you all. I am going to activate the package LOG_MM_MAA_1 in one of our client. Well i am aware of what the business function does in procurement.  What i want is before activating the package  i have to select BUSINESS FUNCTION SET which tells what is the industry type.

My first observation is my industry sector is IT/BPO services. So for that when i check down the drop down list i cannot find any such industry sector. I can find IS media where i have activated it before in some of my client. But here i do not have the sector type.

• My first question is what if i do not select the industry type and simply activate the package?
• What implication it will have?

1. I think auditors might ask why it is not activated specific to business sector type?

• Do i have to configure the industry type any where so that it comes in the drop down list.

Would you please discuss on the detail.

I've applied SPS6 for Netweaver 7.4 with SUM (Abap only - fresh installation). Now I want to update the SNOTE (SAP Note 1668882) before going through SPAU.

SAP Note 168882 also downloads SAP Note 1817142 and when trying to apply that note I got the following error:

Message no. TK754

Diagnosis

An insert error occurred on the database when creating the object directory

entry (TADIR) for object R3TR PROG RSVCAD_CORR_740.

A database insert was attempted although the object already exists.

System Response

The function terminates.

Procedure

Repeat the function.

If the error occurs again, check whether the corresponding directory entry exists.

If you have database problems, contact your system administrator.

When I check table TADIR for object PROG RSVCAD_CORR_740 I got one entry, although when I go through SE38 and try to execute that program It says Program does not exist. Any suggestion?

I setup NWBC to SSO via SAML2 (OKTA as - Identity provider) with the help of my infrastructure team.

The web html version of NWBC via IE works absolutely fine including HTTP & HTTPS (with suggestions from Samuli kaski on this forum)

However, the NWBC 4.0 PL12 desktop version, is having issues. When I try the SAP system's SICF service URL, https://<ABAP AS>:44301/nwbc in the connection settings, the NWBC screen goes through the SAML/IDP authentication succesfully and then just hangs with a blank screen. Confirmed via fiddler

Set the trace level to VERBOSE and couldnt find anything that made sense to me in the trace files. I also setup the parameter AllowTemporaryConnections to True in the NwbcOptions.xml.template file on my client side.

The NWBC 4.0 PL12 is the latest version, backened SAP_BASIS version is at NW 7.31 SP09 & Windows version is Windows 7

I have Installed IDES ECC6 EHP4 on my Home PC Successfully . I created a New Client using SCC4 , But i am unable to log in to Newly Created Client with SAP* and Password PASS to do a client copy from 000 client.

According to Some Forum post need to change the below profile parameters

.login/no_automatic_user_sapstar= 0(default 1)

.login/min_password_lng = 3 (default 6)

But when i try to change the Parameters using RZ10 there is a Error message  "Server iwdf7yt2_ID3_06 is not active - action cannot be executed"

I am not a basis guy, please help me to overcome this issue.
