We are on Netweaver 7.0; Kernel level 353. As the 700 kernel is out of support, we intend to move up to kernel 7.40 while the netweaver release will be at 7.0 (SAP_BASIS 700). Unfortunately, I am unable to get hold of a document that states the per-requisites for implementing Kernel 740. Greatly appreciate if anybody could post a link to the per-requisites of SAP Kernel 740. Thanks for your time.

I have Solution Manager 3.2 installed on Win2000Server/MSSQLServer. It was working fine. I restarted the server and now the Process 'igswd.exe ' IGS Watchdog is not starting up. On rightclicking, the developer trace is not opening up.
Please Advise how to resolve/investigate the issue.

we operate a web dispatcher 7.40 with more than one CN. Every CN hides a different application on an enterprise portal or an abap stack. Now there is only one valid ssl certificate.
Is it possible to maintain more than one CN, every with a valid ssl certificate, on one web dispatcher?

Problem:
This is a very Common problem from BW team that they are unable to run transaction Code RSPCM in BW system.
Reason:
This problem start when system start SAP_CCMS_MONI_BATCH_DB job to gather the information from Process Chain and request for CCMS Monitoring. The purpose of this job is to check and evaluate the all request and Process chain where the status has been changed since last run of the job.
Immediate Work Around:
Cancel the job SAP_CCMS_MONI_BATCH_DB.

I'm working on a Web dynpro wherein I want to put the logo of the company. Although there is an option of uploading the image from desktop, but I don't want to use it. Suppose tomorrow if the logo changes, we will have to change at all the places. I'm sure there would be some standard way of using an image from a central place, just like we do in smartforms. But i'm not able to figure it out. I uploaded the image in MIME Repository, but could not find any option in dynpro to use it.
Please advice how to do the same.

We are running on NW Portal 7.31 with ESS/MSS.
When calling an iview in portal which fetches data from backend and theme from the portal itself.
When traced the url, found that the below css file is getting called.
We dont want the css file to get called through http, cause http is blocked in our case.
Can you suggest a way to change it to https.
NOTE: We have thousands of iview and we dont want to change the property of each iview individually using css-url.

Kindly provide your support on below
1) 1) Do I miss any more components in Backend??? Why do NOT MSS come by default with SAP ERP 6.0 EHP 6 as we get ESS or Do we need to have this MSS add-on on top of our existing??
2) 2) Please help in identifying the latest Components to install in ECC system??
3) 3) Please help in identifying the latest Business packages to install/import in Portal with the system we have?? And How??

Hi,
I exported all the RFC related tables including trust ones out of our QA system. We then did a system copy from PROD to QA. I then again imported the RFC tables of the old QA and now everything in SM59, SMT1 and SMT2 are as it were before and the RFC destinations work.
But the trust relationships do not work. I get a "No authorization to log on as a trusted system (Trusted RC = 1)". Seems like the security key for the system is invalid.
I DO NOT want to recreate the trust relationships after each system refresh. Any idea how can I get around this issue?

What table are purchase order attachments stored and is there a way to see how large the table is? I'm using SQL server 2005 at this time.
I am using a NetWeaver AS Java 7.40 8 node cluster to test out some demanding processing and when doing so I noticed I begin to see some sluggish response times with our web application and via SAP NetWeaver Administrator. I feel like we may have too many concurrent HTTP requests going on. As a result, I am trying to figure out how to confirm this or tweak the timeout NetWeaver permits by default for requests and/or tweak the number of requests that can be handled at once.
Also, I am seeing issues in the SAP Web Administration Interface’s Core System’s Trace section with overloads. Please see the following for a snippet of the warnings I'm seeing.

I am planning to install a standalone webdispatcher with NW 7.4 base. The intention is to have this standalone instance in the DMZ and redirect the traffic to our PI system.
Technically this webdispatcher should act like a reverse proxy between our external system and PI system. Webdispatcher should accept the external traffic and redirect the request to PI system.
I tried looking for config guides for this config but couldnt find any. Can someone please help me?
