we have query to activate the trace for 10 users in PRD i went through st05 in that either all user or single users we can select in sm19 sm20 do the same either all or particular user is there is workaround for this so i can able to activate trace for 10 user IN PRD server

Hi,

I don't want details like application server name, etc. to be shown on the error screen "Service cannot be reached" in the web browser, because possible attackers could use this information.

Example: User types in browser (internet):

http://mysapserver/any_not_existing_service

http://mysapserver/abcdefgh

http://mysapserver/ (--> without any service)

What I have already done:

Transaction SICF, Service default_host: I created a explicit response page (Error Pages-->Not Accessible), but still the standard page is shown.
Profile parameter is/HTTP/show_detailed_errors: I set the parameter to "false", but still the detailed standard page is shown. It actually works for the error page, that is shown for runtime errors.

We have planned to migrate our ECC Development, Quality and production system from Oracle Database to SAP HANA database.

Since it is bit new topic for me on HANA.

Can anyone help me on how to perform this activity? If anyone can guide on system copy guide for HANA, that would be great.

I set the parameter ume.logoff.redirect.url, but in NWA this LogOff URL is not working.

I'm alway redirect back to NWA.

I was performing System Refresh using backup/restore method.While running sapinst on DB host I was getting below error

Database Environment :-MS SQL Server 2014 (MS SQL 12.0)

Solution:-

SAPINST expects only tables in schema of your DB. I found that We have user tables in schema 'dbo'.

Run this statement to find out what tables SAPNST has a problem with:

use <DB SCHEMA NAME>
go
select * from sys.tables where schema_id = schema_id('dbo')

You can export them or Delete them.I deleted them and went ahead with the installation.

Use below command to delete them

droptable dbo.sap_dblocks ,dbo.sap_mon_para,dbo.sap_tsize_sample,dbo.sap_mon_text,dbo.sap_tabstats,dbo.sap_tr2_tracedefs

Now check again if theye are indeed deleted or not.

I am trying to install mini SAP ABAP 32 bit on windows 7 & vista & XP sp2 , but i always stuck at "start instance" (error: Last error reported by the step :Instance NSP/DVEBMGS00 reached state SHUTDOWN after having state STARTING. Giving up )
I reinstalled operating system (XP sp2 & windows 7) several times . I have 8 gb ram and 10 gb virtual memory allocated with i7 processor..I installed a Microsoft loopback adapter and edited the hostfile too but its not helping too .
I was able to start instance manually but I further noticed that disp+Work.exe is taking time to start its just not fast and it takes around 120sec.
I am including here the screenshot and log file attached to this question ( last trace 2015-07-26 22:46:47.997 [TRACE : iaxxgenimp.cpp:1245 CGuiEngineImp::acceptAnswerForBlockingRequest Waiting for an answer from GUI).
I really need to install . please guide me . Thanks in advance (by the way version I'm trying to install is AS_ABAP_7_02_SP6_32_bit_Trial)

Dear All

We have installed Biller Direct 6.35 on Netweaver 7.31, NWDI is configured, NWDS version is 7.31, JDK version is 1.7,

When we try to synch and create projects we are getting Project migration popup for the project fscm/bd/web/bd and if we continue to migrate we are getting failure message, even quick fix option suggested by the failure log is not migrating the project.

As a result of this we are getting errors in the web modules fscm/bd/web/bd and fscm/bd/web/shared.

We don’t have any issues with fscm/bd and fscm /bd/ebpp biller direct projects. Please see the attachment for details. Please help me to move forward if anybody has a fix or solution for this.

created a new visual, flow oriented page to support resolution of critical

SAP Netweaver Application Server issues. It’s in the format of a Decision Tree in

the newly revamped Client Server Technology WIKI page.

The approach looks at the landscape from the perspective of an SAP Administrator

that will troubleshoot SAP Netweaver Application Server issues based on observed

behaviors. Just like real life is!! It provides an end-to-end view of the system logic to

support the decision process of where to go next and what to look for.

The objective is to allow Netweaver Administrators identifying errors affecting

the entire services of an Application Server and, even more, to solve the problem.

I have noticed, that SAP has released EHP 3 for NetWeaver AS Java 7.0:

I wanted to make a test installation of it, but unfortunately no SWPM supports it! In the normal SWPM

it is not listed at all and in the 70SWPM... there is an option to install an ABAP system ONLY:

And this is the LATEST SWPM available on the marketplace...

Please kindly advise what is the trick in order to get this installed :-) Thanks a lot in advance!

The system has recurrent job running every 15 minutes. It creates the following dump in ECC system.

it shows issue with table FP_L_I_COUNTER field L_V_CHAR it seems.
