Request your expert insights into the issue that is being currently faced by us for establishing trust in ERP for https communication for HCI C4C integration.
Process followed was:-
1. CA signed certificate was not requested from SAP ERP but the Business already had a certificate signed by the CA which we used to import into STRUST "SSL Client".
2. CA signed certificate used in Step1 is imported in Server Standard as well in STRUST.
3. CA signed certificate used in Step1 is added in Web Dispatcher instead of generating separate certificate.
4. Further we imported HCI root and client certificate into STRUST "SSL Client".
5. Now after doing the basic configuration settings for integration, when we try to do a connection test in SM59, it shows Connection to proxy refused "SSLERR_PEER_CERT_UNTRUSTED" error.
Request insights for further resolution of the issue.
I am performing a sandbox upgrade with SUM (SP13). During configuration (in the PREP_EXTENSION) I encountered the following message:
"The program is unable to generate the add-on queue due to missing add-ons or Support Packages"
I have included a screenshot below. It appears that the Maintenance Optimizer did not properly calculate the correct target in the stack.xml file for BI_CONT. I used SOLMAN 7.1 (SP13) to run MOPz. My question has anyone else encountered this particular error? If yes, how did you resolve it. I have consulted the following notes:
Has anyone resolved this issue before? Any suggestions on how I should proceed. Right now, I'm thinking I need to go back and 1) troubleshoot my maintenance optimizer; 2) make sure the SLD and/or LMDB is correct and 3) start over from there. Any additional guidance would be greatly appreciated.
I am not able to test my webdynpro application. When i test it is ended with blank page with warning as 'Invalid Argument' . Can you please any one help me to fix this issue.
I am searching for a way to check if users are logging in SAP using a entry in saplogon that points directly to central instance, instead the logon group entry.
We have a great discrepancy between the number of users logged in CI and logged in the other 2 dialog instances.
The previous Basis Consultant in the company, extracts a report of this, but I have no idea how to do this, without taking off central instance from logon group in SMLG.
Scenario: Assume I am upgrading my ERP system to SPS21. I have two development systems DA1 & DA2. DA1 is in the production support path DA1->QA1-->PA1. DA2 is in the SAP upgrade path DA2-->QA2. To prepare for the upgrade I used system refresh techniques to copy DA1 to DA2 and QA1 to QA2. Then I applied SPS21 to both DA1 and DA2.
Once transports are applied to PA1 they need to be "replicated" in the upgraded systems so they can be tested again. What is the best method for getting the DA1 transports into DA2?
I was thinking of using the following technique
1) Use STMS to manually add the DA1 transport to DA2 - AFTER it is applied to the production system (PA2)
2) I will select the option to overwite originals when importing the DA1 transport to DA2
3) I will create a DA2 transport and merge the objects from the DA1 transport into this new transport
4) I will test the changes in DA2 and if it looks good I'll release the DA2 transport into QA2 for integration testing
Does this make sense? Is there a recommended way for performing this type of transport?
This paper describes dependencies between NetWeaver support packages and kernel versions and provides overview and roadmap info on the downward compatible kernel.
I have been trying to setup a new local SLD, but when I tried to set the user and password in SAP NW logon page, I got the next message "Cannot redirect to the requested application, the redirect attribute is invalid."
During our annual disaster recovery drill (which try to restore a dual stack netweaver environment from one server to another server, using system copy), We found that the netweaver platform can successfully start off - ASCS, SCS, ABAP server, but failed to start off its Java server.
From "dev.jstart", we see something like :
