We have 3 Production System, in that SAPOSCOL stops frequently.
Frequency is after every 2-3 days SAPOSCOLL stops.
Can i know what would be the reason? How can i get a permenant solution? What should i check?

I want to do one implementation and in that I want to setup FI, CO, MM, SD, PP, QM and PM modules with HA on Windows Platform for 20k SAPS.
Now my questions are:
1. For Hardware sizing I check in quick size and it is actually difficult for using so can you please suggest for 20K SAPS for Production and 3k for DEV and 3k for Qua.
2. What about SAPS its based on no. of modules or No.of users ?if on no. ofusers then the users of entire system or module wise ?
2.ECC server is require ?
2.How to setup these modules? imeansi need to install all these modules on separate servers or i will get all these modules in ECC system itself?
3.How is the licensing ?it is module wise ?or one license for all modules ?
4.For this i need to setup Devlopement and Quality server also ? If yes then what about licensing ?
5.What about Database ? How is the licensing if i go for Oracle?

I then upload to the server, my Project is set to build automatically.
But the revised message does not get displayed on the server.
Is there something special I need to do get the latest wcf_resources file to be used?

We need to restart BO BI 4.0 in linux. I have never restarted same in Linux.
Can some one help me telling the sequence is correct for restart
1. Stopping

2. Starting

Any idea why this is happening and how can I solve this?
As a background I can also mention that we are using a RFC destination SAP_ECC from the java stack to backend ECC and the login method has been set to "Current User (Assertion Ticket)". SSO settings were already completed and the SSO was also working fine. Also, if I change this option to Logon Ticket, the error disappears but changing it back to assertion ticket brings it on again. Obviously, since this is system to system integration, I cannot use logon tickets and assertion tickets are definitely the right choice.

Firstly I hope I'm posting this in the right spot, if not please direct me to the right place.
So we're trying to install a High Available Java 7.4 SR1 system on a windows 2012 system with windows 2012 clustering.
We installed the database, and many other databases clustered without a problem.
When we start the First Cluster Node installation through SWPM we get the log off and log on, afterwards the installation continues, we chose for Unicode and than before we get the option screen to select the SAP system ID, the Network parameters and the shared drive an error pops up:

This is a correct error seeing as we are working with mount points, so we have a 1GB LUN called BO3ROOT and in it we have 3 more LUNS (mount points) called BO3DATA1, etc.
We look further in the logs we also find this:

According to SAP note 1938885 SAP recommends to connect BW through BI Consumer Services (BICS).
Unfortunately I have not found any information how to this in a Java application running on NetWeaver AS Java 7.4.
Till now we were using XMLA with BI Java SDK. But in NetWeaver AS Java 7.4 this SDK seems to be corrupt.
One solution would be to use BAPI to exectue XMLA queries. But as SAP recommends BICS should be used.
Does anybody now where is the information about the BICS API in NetWeaver AS Java 7.4.
Even only a small sample program in JAVA would be useful.

We would like to know more as if we have 1 landscape environment in a VM, can we have different version of NW in the same landscape. Basically it is a VM environment whereby we have dedicated DB server and all the apps server is pointing to the DB. Understood that if we need more apps server instead of Java or ABAP stack, it can just add in a VM but what if I would like to have 1 NW 7.0 Java stack, 1 NW 7.4 Java stack, 1 NW 7.0 ABAP stack and 1 NW 7.4 ABAP stack in the same landscape and all the server in connecting to DB server and a SAP Central Instance.
