Hi All,

I am trying to start SAP MCC instance after the reboot of my computer.

The DAA agent is working fine when I try to start or stop from windows service it is working fine.

But SID agent is not acting so. Even it is "automatic" it is not starting after system start.

In one of the thread I learned that this service cannot be started like that. We need to create some script and schedule it.

I have tried scheduling the "sapstart.exe" but its not happening.

Can you please give me a solution for this?

We use the standard extractors 0FI_GL_14, 0FI_AR_30, 0FI_AP_30 to account "Accounts receivable" and "Accounts payable". Since that report, we consider only open positions, hence we analyze the date alignment AUGDT. In productive ERP we encountered the same problem: the delta update procedure 0FI_GL_14 AIED. Thus, the information found on forums and help'e had such understanding - if the document is created, the record should get a table BWFI_AEDAT, which are read from the changed document titles, then ship all items from BSEG. Everything would be fine if not for adjustment is not key fields: for example clearing operation or reversal. At this point, the field BKPF-AEDAT transactionally not changed in ERP, therefore changes should not get in BWFI_AEDAT, but the data in BW come.

If we consider a specific example, but I want to note that this problem is not regular, so it is impossible to systematize the problem:

1 creates a document with empty AUGDT, AUGCP, AUGBL.
Delta says it for me and ship in BW.
After a time a document is created 2, which is a reversal of the document 1 and shall AUGDT, AUGCP, AUGBL in both documents, but only brings the delta document 2 and the amended document 1 does not work.

In previous installations like Netweaver 04 the default jvm needed to be installed in the server previous the installation and normally are from SUN or IBM.

SAP now has it's own jvm and this systems needs to be updated with this new jvm.

In Java systems the jvm patch is present in several files inside of the configuration, because of this SAP released a tool tot switch the jvm (You can download from SAP Marketplace).

1. The Tool asks for the profile path.

2. The tool ask for the .SAR file that contains the sapjvm4.

3. The tool needs the jce_policy file from SUN to continue.

4. Now the tool proposes some changes in the jvm parameters that work accordingly with the new sapjvm. Normally you accept the proposal.

5. The summary shows all the details.

6. The process starts.

7. The tool asks for a system restart and we're done.

8. Finished Successfully.

9. Now we check in SAP configtool that the jvm path has changed to the new sapjvm.

We use the standard extractors 0FI_GL_14, 0FI_AR_30, 0FI_AP_30 to account "Accounts receivable" and "Accounts payable". Since that report, we consider only open positions, hence we analyze the date alignment AUGDT. In productive ERP we encountered the same problem: the delta update procedure 0FI_GL_14 AIED. Thus, the information found on forums and help'e had such understanding - if the document is created, the record should get a table BWFI_AEDAT, which are read from the changed document titles, then ship all items from BSEG. Everything would be fine if not for adjustment is not key fields: for example clearing operation or reversal. At this point, the field BKPF-AEDAT transactionally not changed in ERP, therefore changes should not get in BWFI_AEDAT, but the data in BW come.

If we consider a specific example, but I want to note that this problem is not regular, so it is impossible to systematize the problem:

1 creates a document with empty AUGDT, AUGCP, AUGBL.
Delta says it for me and ship in BW.
After a time a document is created 2, which is a reversal of the document 1 and shall AUGDT, AUGCP, AUGBL in both documents, but only brings the delta document 2 and the amended document 1 does not work.

In both DSO written Z *, which preserves the uniqueness of the request for planned loadings . The same situation exists with DSO stage => Cube, with one difference : the cube loaded and other flows.

Crux of the matter : nobody faced with a situation where in the report, in the presence of successful requests and availability of data in the tables , missing data , and not in part, but the whole of the source?

I was trying to do a sizing in quicksizer for a PI 7.1 Server . But I am not getting an option for PI 7.1 , instead I am getting it for NW 7.3 . Is there any way we can change it to PI 7.1.

I was trying to do a sizing for a PI system on Quick Sizer . The PI Serveris on Netweaver 7.1 but the quick sizer tool is giving me the option for Net weaver 7.3 only . Is ther any way , we can change it to 7.1 and perform the sizing .

Hello!

Normally it should be a simple thing to restart a server when it´s part of a cluster. But last time it went very wrong and it took us 90 minutes to get SAP running again.

What we have:

Windows 2003 Cluster:

Node1 holding SAP application

Node2 holding the database

What we did:

moving SAP application from Node1 to Node2

shutting down SAP instances on Node1

restarting Node1

What happened:

Node1 not responding

Cluster group was malfunctioning

group SAP PRD not found

We had to shutdown both servers to initialize both Nodes and get the cluster running again. Today we have to do the same again, but this time please without any problems Did do we something wrong? Do we have to shutdown the SAP instances from Node1 (they were already running on Node2 the last time).

However after 3 hours nothing seems to be happenning (same amount of data in D:\usr\sap\<SID>\SYS\global\100JOBLG)

Hello, I'm trying to configure SAP Web Dispatcher with SSL with re-encryption. I'm not interested in load balancing.

Systems info:

• SAP Web Dispatcher 7.4
• backend NW AS ABAP 7.02

So far, I've done the following:

1- SSL Configuration in backend

a) Setting these parameters:

ssf/name

SAPSECULIB

ssl/ssl_lib

sec/libsapsecu

ssf/ssfapi_lib

icm/HTTPS/verify_client  <---- Should I use 0, 1 or 2? The client should be the SAP Web disp, right? So I guess 2?

icm/server_port_<x>

b) Create Private key and Certificates and generate CSR certificate --> using STRUST

c) Import digitally signed entrust certificates into ABAP AS --> using STRUST

2 - SAP Web Dispatcher Installation and set the normal parameters

3 - Install the SAP Cryptographic Library in the SAP Web Dispatcher

4 - Creating the PSEs and Certificate Requests: SSLS (Server) and SSLC (Client) --> using sapgenpse in SAP Web Dispatcher

5 - Sending the Certificate Requests to a CA (Im using SAP Test SSL)

6 - Importing the Certificate Request Responses --> using sapgenpse in SAP Web Dispatcher

7 - Creating Credentials for the SAP Web Dispatcher  --> using sapgenpse in SAP Web Dispatcher

8 - Setting these parameters in the SAP Web Dispatcher profile for SSL:

• Can I have this scenario (SSL with re-encryption) without setting metadata exchange with SSL?
• Do I have to change any additional parameter in the NW AS backend for this scenario?

I am having SAP EHP1 for NW 7.3. I am planning for an SSO with ADS.

One of the document I am following. Which says that get a keytab file and upload in the useradmin configuration.

I am getting the keytab file which is a flat file. ANd when I upload it, it is asking for the xml file.

Please let me know is that the key tab file which I am getting is right?

When I see the log it shows : Content is not allowed in prolog.

How to proceed further?

Hi!

In a Java program running on a SAP J2EE Server we are using the Destination Service API to perform ABAP function modules calls via JCo. In the Java Engine we used NWA to define a destination to the ABAP system with a technical user:

NWA -> Configuration Management -> Security -> Destinations

No we are asking us what the following destination parameters do EXACTLY mean (SAP docu says nothing about that):

Max Pool size : 5

Max connections : 10

Max wait time : 10 sec

(the values given above are the SAP default values when we created the RFC destination).

Above all what is the relationship between Max Pool Size and Max Connections.

Additionally: How should/must we set these values when we are expecting:

- 100 concurrent users

- 500 concurrent users

and what are the consequences concerning harware resource consumption.
