SAPEVT.EXE - MSOP_ACCESS_DENIED

Hello,

 

I try to run a event with this command line :

sapevt.exe SAP_ORTEMS_MATMAS name=DE1 mshost=srvdev2 msserv=3600 nr=00

 

but in file dev_evt, i got this error message :

For information :

- this command line working nicely on our old system (470), but in our new system (ECC6 EHP7) we have this error.

- mshost=srvdev2 = sap -> tcode RZ11 -> rdisp/mshost -> SRVDEV2

- msserv=3600 = sap -> tcode RZ11 -> rdisp/msserv -> sapmsDE1 -> C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\services -> sapmsDE1  3600/tcp # SAP System Message Port

Connect to twitter

Hi,

we are trying to do a POC using twitter APIs. But I am getting the below error when I try to connect to twitterfrom my web application, i guess it is because SAP AS of some proxy settings. Can anyone of you please help me regarding this?

Error I get- " Error while silently connecting: org.w3c._www.protocol.http.HttpException: The host name [api.twitter.com] couldn't be resolved. Details: "api.twitter.com""

Hello Gurus,

 

While doing a system copy via R3Load method for a ECC6.0 EHP6 on Win 2008 R2 , Oracle 11.2.0.3  system , I got an error during the ABAP Import phase on the target system for the last 2 packages

Further Details

==============

Had chosen to split tables before copy and had also executed SMIGR_CREATE_DDL report prior to DB export with target - Oracle DB.

Copied the resultant .SQL files into Export_dump/ABAP/DB directory.

 

After getting the error, and reading the guides and the posts on SCN , I copied the .SQL files into ABAP/DB/ORA directory as well and then restarted the Import again for the failed packages, but the import fails again.

 

Any clues/ suggestions would really be helpful.

SSO for sap R/3 using Novell edirectory

Hi,

 

we are trying to implement sso for sap r/34.7 X200( using SAP GUI for windows).Our vision is,when a user enters his NT login he should be authenticated against the Novell Edirectory

Any suggestion on how to implement this would be appreciated.

Hello everybody,

 

we have upgraded the SAP System NW 701 ERP 604 Kernel 721 ext unicode

to Linux RHEL7 and installed the follwoing packages:

cyrus-sasl-gssapi-2.1.26-17.el7.x86_64

krb5-libs-1.12.2-14.el7.x86_64

pam_krb5-2.4.8-4.el7.x86_64

krb5-workstation-1.12.2-14.el7.x86_64

 

and customized SNC Parameter in SAP and active Directory.

 

In GSS Test we get this error:

 

ERROR: OUCH! Lifetime has increased by 20195 sec while 0 sec passed!

RESULT  NOT ok (rc=1)

SAP Download Manager 404 Not Found

I want to download SAP Note 1077403.

However, SAP download manager fail to download with message

"Request failed. Exception:Request failed.Exception:HTTP/1.1 404 Not Found;"

Any idea? Please help.

I am trying to import transport request using shell scripting but i am getting RC12 error .I tried restarting script then first TR went fine and second TR gives RC12.I am getting RC12 for each TR.Please help as i have mass transport levelling to be done.

what do I have to do after system copy

I wander what do I have to do after system copy.

E.g change the logical system in (transaction scc4)scc4,

change entries related to logical system in tables (transaction bdls),

change RFC(delete the PRD one and create the TEST one back),

create CUA for this  satellite system,

set the TEST system values in WE20 and WE21 transactions),

set transport system so that the new system is TEST....

 

I guess I missed some action or... If so please let me know

SAP Licensing at a self created Web Application

Hi all,

 

please can you tell me which license model fits for a self created web application with its own user store?

 

The user can Login at the Website and if they called a Service, in the Background it will be established a Connection to a SAP System to

get Information.

 

In my Szenario many People can Login to the web application but only one SAP communication user is needed in the SAP System.

 

Can anyone tell me which license is suitable in this case?

Or maybe is it better to handover each user so that each user must be also created in the sap System?

 

Maybe exist a Special license offer in such cases beside the normal SAP Prof. User?

TST_ERROR

Hi everybody, I'm installing a Netweaver 7.3 EHP1 system in Linux with DB2, but when sapinst reaches phase 36 (enable role concept) I get a message like this

 

Last error reported by the step: Execution of the command "/tmp/sapinst_instdir/NW731/INSTALL/NW73/DB6/STD/AS-ABAP/db6_update_db.sh -d BWS -enable_roles" finished with status TST_ERROR

 

I tried to execute the command with root user but I got a message "you should run this with DB owner", I change my user to DB2<SID> and the script ran perfectly

But, how can I solve this problem if root is running sapinst and DB2<SID> have no permissions tu run sapinst?

LSMW - Creation Project/WBS with BAPI or Idoc

Hi SDN,

 

is there anybody who was succesful in creating Projects and WBS structures with BAPI or Idoc?

 

I tried it with BAPI and the follwing parameters

Business Object  BUS2054
Method           SAVEREPLICA
Message Type     PROJECT
Basic Type       PROJECT01

 

This ends with an error that SAVEREPLICA is not allowed in this context. I should use CREATE, but CREATE can not be entered in the parameters.

 

I tried Idoc with the follwing parameters

 

Message Type     PROJECT
Basic Type       PROJECT01
Enhancement

X Allow Structure Assignment for EDIDC40

 

This finaly terminates with the same error as the BAPI.

 

I would really like to use a standard SAP tool to migrate Projects/WBS-Structures. Was anybody succesful in this and can give a short documentation to the SDN community?

Web Service not selectable in S_SERVICE

hi guys,

we have created 4 Web services in our development system.

Then I have to craete a role with authorization object S_SERVICE.

The services will be inserted by using F4 help.

But I see only 2 services, two services are missing.

All services are active.

 

What can I do ?

Not able to take dump into excel from webgui login

Dear

as some of user are using webgui for sap login now they are not able to take DUMP in to excel for small report when they login from WEBGUI and normally same dump came  in excel in SAPGUI login

 

if you any suggestion kindly share

CPU usage priority between SAP system and database

Hello,

 

Sometimes, we reserve 80% of CPU to SAP system and 40% of CPU to Database system. When the CPU reach it's top utilization which has the priority, the SAP system or the database for the CPU usage.

Hello!

I am using Oracle Linux 6.

I am installing Netweaver EP3, Central Instance.

Sybase DB

 

At 4. Execute (Start Instance) I am getting this error. I have searched for it in many places but with no success. I get an error message "instance SID/dvebmgs00 reached state shutdown after having state starting. Giving up"

Hello,

 

we get the above error with PDF mailing: THE ROOT OBJECT IS MISSING OR INVALID.

 

We are running NW 7.4 on AIX and all was OK. Since we have added 2 SLES application server to our AIX CI

we have sometimes this error.

 

Kernel of AIX and Linux are on same patchlevel.

 

Any ideas?

CQC HANA - Issues with solution

Dear experts,

 

We have CQC and configured all the managed system configuration and generated EWA. however for HANA systems SAP unable to view the HANA solution from their end. When I checked in the solutions, it is not rated.

 

I checked generated EWA for HANA solutions, it is empty. I have already created logical components and assigned to HANA DB. Assign product system step is fine as well as verification step is OK.

 

How to troubleshoot this. where can i check why EWA for HANA solution is empty. Could you please help me here.
