Trace file (dev_rfc.trc) suddenly growing in GBs

Hi All,

We have a SLD with MS SQL on WIN 2003 for which the trace file (dev_rfc.trc) in growing in giga bytes suddenly. The file is growing around 7 GB and the system crashes down.This happened three times now.

We couldn't open the trace file as the wordpad or notepad is unable to open such a huge file.

Can you please let me know how to point the issue and proceed further?
