Portal and ECC version that support Webdynpro ABAP

Hi Experts,

    Currently we are using the ECC 6 EP 5 and Portal 7.01 SP 5 versions.

We have made some customizations to the ESS and MSS  and developed some interactive forms using the Webdynpro JAVA. 

We are planning to move to Webdynpro ABAP and rebuild all the applications.

Do we have to upgrade both the ECC and Portal versions for this ?

What are the versions of ECC and Portal that supports the Webdynpro ABAP?
