Exception while trying to deploy ERROR CODE DPL.DCAPI.1027 DeploymentExcept

I copied a local wdp project into the DC (through src folder). I could build the new DC successfully but when I try to deploy the same I get the following error:

Exception while trying to deploy

[ERROR CODE DPL.DCAPI.1027] DeploymentException.

Reason: An error occurred while deploying the deployment item 'demo.sap.com_migratelocal'.; nested exception is:

     com.sap.engine.services.dc.gd.DeliveryException: [ERROR CODE DPL.DC.3298] An error occurred during deployment of demo.sap.com_migratelocal. Cannot deploy it.

Can somebody please let me know where is the problem?

I am using NetWeaver IDE 7.1 CE.
