We have a custom Java EE application and we need to use JMS over Oracle AQ configured in the SAP NetWeaver Application Server. The Oracle running AQ in this scenario is the customer's legacy database, so it's not the "default" NetWeaver database that is going to be used.
Is it possible to configure NetWeaver JMS provider to connect to an Oracle AQ instance? How can we do it?
I know I could manually program the application to integrate using the Oracle driver "oracle.aq.*" package, but that would required me to manage the threads, associate listeners, etc. We would like to use JMS, not implement it manually.
I know that NWDI uses Oracle AQ, so, would it be possible to do it using a custom application?
