How to add load balanced R/3 systems in NWDS

Overview

The blog describes what to do when you need to add a load balanced R/3 system in the configuration of NWDS, but the list appears as empty.

Procedure

1. Open your SAP Logon configurator:

2. Check the name of the system variable that has to be configured:

3. Create such as system variable in your Environment:

It should point to the folder and the filename of your saplogon.ini file.

Example: (C:\Users\user\AppData\Roaming\SAP\Common\saplogon.ini)

4. If everything is configured correctly, you should see the list of the systems in NWDS:
