We've embarked on an SAP implementation of ECC, BPC, and many other components and add-ons to replace our 35yr old legacy system. Many of us being brand new to SAP are looking for advice on the right kind of support model post go-live. We're using a hosting provider to host our infrastructure and they are providing Basis services, however, I think we need a Basis person in-house to know our installation and be able to speak with the provider. Going beyond that, with Help Desk, ABAP application support, etc, what support models, roles, and functions are necessary to support SAP long term?
