SNC (Secure Network Communication) withour SSO (Singe Sign-on)

Hi,

I am currently in the situation that I would like to secure the network communication between client and server but without the usage of single sign-on.

I have already found quite a lot documentation on how to configure SSO because this needs SNC. But all these documents have not helped me so far. Most of the documents are also written to be working with LDAP integration.

We have Solaris servers and windows clients.

Do any of you have a documentation or hints on how to configure SNC in this case?
