Help in SSL Certificate Renwal Process

     Dear all

We have implemented HTTPS and SSL using Geotrust certificates for our Portal Server.

We have a Webdisp with url https://abc.xyzglobal.com which will be redirecting to our portal server def.xyz.local, and we have backend system ECC and BI with ghi.xyz.local and jkl.xyz.local

Here xyz.local is our domain name.

We had purchased the SSL Certificates from GEOTrust (TrueBusinedID with 5SAN)

*Website URL to secure:   https://abc.xyzglobal.com/

Additional SAN are def.xyz.local ,ghi.xyz.local , jkl.xyz.local

Now my problem is I need to renew the cerificate as it is going to be expired

When i Try to renew the purchase of certificate i get a error sayin that

Due to new CA/Browser Forum changes, we no longer support internal server names or IP addresses for certificates that expire after November 1, 2015. Shorten your validity period or enter a fully qualified domain name to continue.

their customer support says they will not provide SSL Certifciates for .local domains as per the new policy.

So if i take the new certificate for th URL  https://abc.xyzglobal.com/  and renew the dispatcher certificate do i face any issue with other SSL Errors?

Iam in very confused state on how to proceed further, can any one guide me in resolving this issue.
