MSSQL DB version 10.50 and SAP version 7.40

Hello All,

I am upgrade SAP GETWAY server to 7.40 version, I get this error the DB version 10.50 is too LOW for this upgrade.

Do we need to have mssql DB version 11 for all SAP installation version 7.40? I have plan to install SAP PO version 7.40, do I need to have mssql version 11 for this too or 10.50 is OK?
