JSPM has been replaced by SUM, but SUM does not want to work for me. Does anybody know which JSPM service package version for NW 7.31 was the last working version, before SUM was enforced? Somewhere around January - Marc 2013 should have been the last version?

Dear friends, we are planning an HA instalation, but we have a doubt about the Enqueue Replication Server. As per my understanding, we can install en enqueue replication server (ERS) in other host (B), but in case of fail over, the sap instance needs to be started in the same host of the ERS (B) to be able to access to the lock table of the ERS.
Do you know if posible to instal the ERS in other host, and the sap instance in another? The scenario looks like:
Before Fail Over:
Host A: ASCS + CI.
Host B: Stand by Server for the failover.
Host C: ERS.
After Fail over:
Host A: Stand by Server for the failover.
Host B: ASCS + CI.
Host C: ERS.
Will be possible for the host B read the replicated lock table in the host C after the fail over?
The documentation says that the replicated lock table is stored in a shared memory area, then, when the instance is started in the other host (failover) is cappable to read this information form the shared memory area. But what happens if the ERS is in a separated host?

of course it depends what is in the transport but its always a good solution to do transports at times with low activity like lunch or evenings
for program-changes, there might occur a DUMP (/NST22) Type LOAD_PROGRAM_LOST, this is nothing critical as the next time when the user calls the program it will be the new version.
For Classes (typical CRM) there might be DUMPS with LOAD_PROGRAM_CLASS_MISMATCH (Users have to re-login into CRM Session again)
for CRM it might be necessary to reset Shared Memory (Webui caching) using /NSHMM see KB http://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/1870987
most critical are changes in data dictionary structures (tables and structures):
if after a transport into the production system a lot of transaction generate a short dump with 'LOAD_TYPE_VERSION_MISMATCH', one of the transported tables/structures/append was used during generation of the new structure which causes a mismatch in dictionary and not matching with the current load of the abap reports.
if this is for example VBAP or BSEG, you might have thousands of dumps in a short time an nobody can work
the table is active in data dictionary and also the new field is corretly transported, its just a load-version that does not match. solution is described in sap note 1567187 - LOAD_TYPE_VERSION_MISMATCH
in the dump you see the table name which causes the problem
first you should just activate this table in se11 again
if this does not help, use program TOUCHTAB, after that all programs using this structure will be generated next time someone calls the report (this takes just a sec, or select 'direct generation' for immediate generation - this will take some time
if you have multiple appservers they need to be restarted (you can try with transaction code $sync first)
another common issue with transports into production is, that if a db-index has to be re-generated, the update process is stopped during the generation,
this might be too long for large tables

I'm trying install "SAP NetWeaver AS ABAP 7.02 SP6 64-bit Version - Developer Edition" onto my windows 8 (64bit),
because I'd like to study ABAP programing.
But during installing above program, always I receive same error message.
The error message is,

Background job PFCG_TIME_DEPENDENCY is running since long. Normally it takes avg. 200 sec to finish, but today it running since 70,000 sec.
Workprocess No., PID and target server name are showing in job details tab, but no workprocess is found on the same server(with same WP no. & PID).

i am trying to run SUM to update a 7.31 SP0 NetWeaver Java Stack, which runs within a Virtual Machine, but the system gets following error message when executing the step
"INPUT-USER-CREDENTIALS" (Input Java Administrator user credentials).

I did provide the correct user password and the J2EE is up and running. Everything else does work as normal, just the SUM does not want to work. That´s the first time I used SUM as JSPM was disabled.

One of our user is getting an error while saving forwarding order in NWBC client 5.0.
Below is the error he is getting once he tries to save a forwarding order

We do not have SLD configured in our landscape since there is no solman or PI in our landscape. I tried to configure SLD locally but with no luck

i have to update manually the SAP Host Agent on a NetWeaver 7.31 Java stack and I followed the instructions on
Installing SAP Host Agent Manually - SAP Host Agent - SAP Library
As of the instructions i have to use the "saphostexec.exe", which should be part of the newer version i have downloaded... unfortunately, that is not the case and the SAR file contains far less files as the currently installed version.
Is the documentation not up to date or has something changed? Can I just copy & past the extracted files and overwrite the old ones in the current folder or do i have to use any other tool?

Hi,
I have installed new SAP system ECC 6.0 on Windows with SQL Server. I used to login with new clients with credentials SAP* and "PASS" in the past. but strangely, today I am unable to login to the new clients 100, 200 and 300 with these credentials. I have tried with "DDIC" and my own master password, which is changed during installation but failed.
could any one please help me how to login to the new clients. is there any profile parameters needs to be changed?

We are trying to configure inbound emails into SAP with exchange server 2007. Followed note 455140 and completed most of the config but couldn't able to get messages into SAP inbox. what we are trying do is, to setup offline workflow approvals. request you guideline and valuable inputs on how to get the desired functionality.
1) created new entries into RZ10 as follows.
is/SMTP/virt_host_0 *:25000;
icm/server_port_1 PROT=SMTP,PORT=25000,TIMEOUT=180;
2) Activated SAPConnnect in SICF.
3) Activated ICM->SMTP service.
4) Maintained default domain as test.com in SCOT.(Note: Test.com is not available, just a dummy one).
After restarting the instance, sent a mail from SBWP to my outlook id( mail sender-SAP LOG IN ID@test.com, receiver-rakesh@xxxxx.com).i am able to receive the mail into outlook but when i reply back not reaching SAP inbox(SOIN).
am i missing any thing in the configuration ?. why am i not reaching back to SAP inbox ?.
if we need to create a rule or route in MSEXCHANGE 2007, how can it be created with port 25000.
