SAP Web Dispatcher - Non-Sap Systems Connection

$

Hi All,

We are struggling with an issue on SAP Web Dispatcher. We have setup the WD to connect to 2 SAP systems and that is working perfectly, but the problem comes in when we try and connect a external website.

Have read most blogs and also the documentation.

SAP Web Dispatcher - SAP Library

Please have a look at the piece of code below. With this piece I get an error.

ERROR: no message server configured (value of wdisp/system_2 is incorrect)

Code :

wdisp/system_2 = SID=EXT, EXTSRV=XXX.XXX.XX.6:8080, SRCSRV=*:8080

I have seen other people use this and it works perfectly for them.

Thank you,

Jannus Botha

BI JAVA stack scenario query.

I have a scenario which I need to validate. Will a BEx WEB Java stack at Netweaver 7.4 talk to a Netweaver BW ABAP stack at Netweaver 7.02?

I have seen a reference in a SAP Netweaver deployment guide, which states

"Release & SP Stack dependency to BEx Web to be removed for all systems with Sap NetWeaver 7.0 EHP2 and higher"

But I cannot find any notes to support this. Can anyone advise?

Many thanks

Paul.

The cluster server element 441305751 is not added in the EP cluster context

Hello Experts,

We are using load balancer to distribute the load across of our four portal servers nodes. Lately, two of our nodes are behavior very strangely; it continuously stopped working momentarily and it started back up again automatically by it self. And the users usually received a message u201C500 internal server erroru201D.

#1.5 #001372559B8800280000000200002D940004692BC78C988A#1241536659228#com.sap.engine.services.prtbridge##com.sap.engine.services.prtbridge####n/a##defe75c0398711debfb1001372559b88#SAPEngine_System_Thread[impl:5]_55##0#0#Error#1#/System/Server#Plain###

The cluster server element 441305751 is not added in the EP cluster context,

because prtbridge on 441305751 is stopped  or not yet started (maybe the server is starting or shuting down).

Any helps would be appreciated,

SSL handshake with Equifax connection

Experts!

My versions:

SAP CRM 7.0 EHP3 SP05

KERNEL 741_REL v46

OS: AIX 6.1

DB: Oracle 11.2.0.3.0

CommonCryptoLib (SAPCRYPTOLIB) Version 8.4.30 pl40 (Sep 25 2014) MT-safe

My issue:

We have a Connection type "G" in SM59 HTTP Connection to External Serv.

We use this connection to contact EQUIFAX to check all customers for credit worthiness.

The connection has not been touched in a very long time.  But today we started getting errors

SSL erro1.gif

SSL erro2.gif

Here are the details of the RFC.

As you can see, type G calling a 443 URL

Equifax RFC1.gif

We have a defined ID/pass.

plus we use anonymous SSL for authentication

Equifax RFC2.gif

STRUSTSSO2 shows the details of that

STRUST1.gif

We have a THAWTE cert

STRUST2.gif

Like I said, this was working, but not anymore,  We get:

SSL handshake with transport5.ec.equifax.com:443 f

I bumped up the fill ICM trace.  See attached TEXT file, but the important stuff is directly below:

So at any rate, that's what I get.  Equifax says their side hasn't changed.

I know my side hasn't changed.  I know none of my certs have expired.

I know I can directly reach https://transport5.ec.equifax.com//ists/stspost and authenticate straight from my PC or the AIX server using the user/pass they provided.  Which is also in the SM59 G RFC.

So I can't blame my firewall/network team.

I have attempted to apply the latest cryptolib after getting this error.

I was at:

CommonCryptoLib (SAPCRYPTOLIB) Version 8.4.22 pl40 (Jul 23 2014) MT-safe

I am now at

CommonCryptoLib (SAPCRYPTOLIB) Version 8.4.30 pl40 (Sep 25 2014) MT-safe

Still, I'm getting the same error that I attached, and have shown above.

I've done all the easy stuff.  I've also search all of the OSS marketplace...SCN, google.

I just need to know...is this me or Equifax???  I've reached out to that company's tech support but they've been less than helpful.

Anything I can provide to them to prove either way would be great.

Anyone got ideas???

Thanks!!!!

A general problem has occurred within the logon. The error message is: while trying to load from an object array loaded from local variable 'businessObjectType'.

Hello,

I am having issues using NetWeaver As Java 7.30 SP7 (the most recent version for 7.30). This error message is thrown within Biller Direct directly after logon, but I guess this is not a Biller Direct issue and more related to the NetWeaver 7.30.

I am having the same setup also using NetWeaver 7.31 as local developer environment without getting the same error.

A general problem has occurred within the logon. The error message is: while trying to load from an object array loaded from local variable 'businessObjectType'.

THere is no error message in the log files, so i am unable to locate the actual issue. I was looking for the text "while trying to load from an object array loaded from local variable", but it is not known within the source of Biller Direct.

I was hoping, that somebody had similar issues and could help me to solve this issue? It would be already very help full to point me just in the right direction to locate the source of the message

Cheers,

Andreas

BW Development System Refresh.

$

Hi,

We are planning to refresh our BW Development system.

As per SAP note 886102 -

Scenario B3: You want to copy a single BW system of the group; the source system is not copied. You want to refresh an existing non-productive BW system by copying the source-system-independent objects from the productive BW system [PRD to NPS, refresh].

Step 2.3: Delete source-system-assignments in the target BW system before the
copy

In the target BW system to be overwritten, delete all SAP source systems in the Administrator Workbench / Data Warehousing Workbench (RSA1). DO NOT delete the myself system!

This step is necessary to delete all source-system-dependent objects from the source system (the objects of the old source system connection would interfere with the new source system connection, which will be created after the copy).

Can someone please explain the significance of step 2.3 suggested in the SAP note?

Thanks,

Briston.

SAP Webdispatcher - Http 400 Bad Request

Dear friends,

We have configured the SAML2.0 via SAP Web Dispatcher to the back-end SAP Enterprise Portal application.

We are running into the following issue when we make a call via SAP Web Dispatcher after the SAML2.0 Service Provider authentication.

stderr getting bigger

$

Hello experts.

We have an SAP ECC and for some reason the stderr file is getting bigger and bigger (getting a few dozen KB written to every few minutes)

when I looked into it I saw entries like this:

[Thr 8664] Sun Oct 19 11:32:23 2014

[Thr 8664] ***LOG Q0I=> NiPGetHostByName: '<server name>' not found: getaddrinfo [ninti.c 897]

[Thr 8664] NiHLGetNodeAddr: hostname '<server name>' not found by operating system

Also this entries:

[Thr 8664] RFC UUID: ab_rfccheck_uuid compare uuid's {6B6A57E4-6172-F1FA-A8F3-005056A50005}

[Thr 8664] RFC Receiving P:ELENGTH

[Thr 8664] RFC Receiving P:PPWD

[Thr 8664] RFC Receiving P:PROXY

[Thr 8664] RFC Receiving P:PUSER

[Thr 8664] RFC Receiving P:PWD

[Thr 8664] RFC Receiving P:TIMEOUT

[Thr 8664] RFC Receiving P:TRACE

[Thr 8664] RFC Receiving P:URI

[Thr 8664] RFC Receiving P:USER

[Thr 8664] RFC Receiving T:REQ

I have looked a bit and found this discussion:

***LOG Q0I=> NiPGetHostByName: 'SAPHOST' not found: getaddrinfo [ninti.c 895]

but unless I missed something we don't have this old monitoring as this is our ECC and not SM.

Also - the servers are old servers that no longer exist... however I did manage to find two of them in OAC0 under : "HTTP content server" storage type

Is there anywhere else I can look to find the cause of this entries?

can I find an RFC based on the uuid? (as this might give me a hint of what is trying to find the old servers)

Imanuel Rahamim.

SAP LVM 2.0 stopping central instance

Hi all,

We are on LVM 2.0 on NW 7.4, we have configured the landscape with the help of SLD which detects app1 as central instance even though we  have ASCS/ERS as different servers.

I have changed the option in LVM to treat Central instance as Instance only .

We are facing issues when stopping APP1 which is central instance even though it's just like any other app server.

All other apps like app2/app3 are going down in less than 30 sec from LVM  when we select mass stop and all APP1 are getting hung or taking long time to stop.

I have removed the dependency flag also , still the same result for APP1 servers.

Is there any reason why it's taking long time or any option we need to disable.

Pleae suggest..

Thanks,

Hello Experts.

     The situation is as follows.

We need to transport all Z developments from a NW 7.01 to an ERP based on NW 7.31 i guess is 6.6

I'm thinking about installing an ERP based on netweaver 7.01, put all the components on the same version as the source system and transporting all the developments manually using de co-files.

I have some questions about this.

  • can this be done?
  • how can i obtain all the co-files from the transport orders?
  • which considerations should i take about the process?

Is there another way to migrate the sistem from simple NW to ERP?

     Extra info:

Source system (NW) has the following addons installed

    • SAP_BS_FND
    • WEBCIUF
    • BI_CONT
    • ERECRUIT
    • ST-A/PI

Please let me know is you need any other detail.

Thank you!!

After that we had stopped the update. But after that our SAP system has become too slow. Our users can't able to update .For eg, Slowness is mainly during the Saving of the billings, Saving of Country code, Creating the material master records.

But if we restart the SAP server again, the slowness is not there and also the users are able to update the records.

I am in a critical condition.Please help.

How to use JDBC destinations in WDJ?

$

Hello SDN!

My WebDynpro application should connect to HANA DB via JDBC and read some data. We've made settings according to this  http://help.sap.com/SAPhelp_nw73/helpdata/en/1c/e05bc0c9ca41a783169ce4e18c1bfe/content.htm?frameset=/en/e5/e971faafee44ff9e22eae8cfbf920f/frameset.htm&current_toc=/en/e5/e971faafee44ff9e22eae8cfbf920f/plain.htm&node_id=23. But now I'm confused how to get a connection to the DB. If I use the following code:

Class.forName("com.sap.db.jdbc.Driver");
Connection connection = DriverManager.getConnection("jdbc:sap://hanaServer:31015/?autocommit=false");

without user credentials, then I get an error "com.sap.db.jdbc.exceptions.jdbc40.SQLInvalidAuthorizationSpecException: [10]: invalid username or password".

If I use credentials, everything is ok, but in this case URL to DB and user's credentials are hardcoded which is no good. There're destinations in the link mentioned above. How I can use these destinations in my code to get connection?

SAPGENPSE import_own_cert: Installation of certificate failed

$

Hello Community,

My installation of the SAP Web Dispatcher went like this:

Used SWPM to install the Web Dispatcher Version 7.42. Configured the profile to connect to my GW server and tested successfully with HTTP end to end.

I now want to install HTTPS from Client to Web Dispatcher and HTTP from Dispatcher to GW.

To do this ive followed Setting the SSL Relevant Profile Parameters for the SAP Web Dispatcher - SAP Web Dispatcher - SAP Library to setting the profile parameters. Ive inserted the parameters into the Web Dispatchers profile.

The Web Dispatcher is installed on the same system as my relay server. My Relay Server already has a multi domain cert installed from entrust.

entrust.pfx (I exported this to cert.cer [Base64])

root.cer

chain.cer

chainroot.cer

The command im trying to use to import the certificate is:

sapgenpse import_own_cert -p C:\usr\sap\WD1\W00\sec\SAPSSLS.pse -c cert.cer -r root.cer -r chain.cer -r chainroot.cer -x <password>

sapgenpse import_own_cert -p C:\usr\sap\WD1\W00\sec\SAPSSLS.pse -c cert.cer

sapgenpse import_own_cert -p C:\usr\sap\WD1\W00\sec\SAPSSLS.pse -c cert.cer -r root.cer -x <password>

sapgenpse import_own_cert -p C:\usr\sap\WD1\W00\sec\SAPSSLS.pse -c cert.cer -r root.cer

Im getting an error:

import_own_cert: Installation of certificate failed

Ive followed all the posts by other users with a google search of "site:scn.sap.com sap web disp import_own_cert: installation of certificate failed" but unfortunately haven't found anything thats been able to help me yet.

I would also like to mention that when running the command unlike other people I ONLY get the error message straight after I press enter. No other text but the error.

Regards

Jared
