Hello Gurus,
Can you please tell me how to define number range for non-Abap transports in Java only Stack?
Thanks in advance.
Hi All,
In ST03 / ST03N Transaction, under Load History, data is displayed only for 20 days. With the same retention period ( 20 days ) other systems are displaying the data for more than 20 days. Could you guide me where exactly could be the problem?
Thank you,
Kiran
Hello,
I am doing my first installation of SAP NetWeaver 7.4 SR1 AS Java on Windows Server 2008 R2 with Oracle database 11.2.0.3.
I have been following the SAP Installation guide and everything has been going well but I am now stuck with an error in the Install Java Engine phase of the installation.
The error message I am receiving is:
An error occurred while processing option SAP NetWeaver 7.3 > SAP Systems > Application Server Java > Standard System > Standard System( Last error reported by the step: Process call 'C:\usr\sap\E1D\J00\exe\jstart.exe pf=\\sourcing\sapmnt\E1D\SYS\profile\E1D_J00_sourcing -file=C:\usr\sap\E1D\J00\exe\startup.properties -nodename=bootstrap -launch' exits with error code 1. For details see log file(s) jstart_bootstrap_J00.log.)
When I check the jstart_bootstrap_J00.log it is empty.
executing that command in command prompt leaves screan clear.
I use java full version "1.7.0_45-b18"
I found quite a similar problem alredy solved but unfortunetly solution don't work for me: SAP NetWeaver 7.3 AS Java install error in Install Java Engine phase
Let me know If you need other log files
.
Does anyone know what might be causing this error?
Best Regards
Ireneusz

When printing documents we usually print from the local printer in the office. However, when printing specific documents we want them to print over at the warehouse.
Is it possible to set a default printer to specific transactions?
We are running EPR 6.0 EHP5
SAP Netweaver 7.0 EHP2
Thanks for your help.
Hello
Does anyone knows what is needed in order to enable SSO passport for Service Marketplace. Namely in Internet Explorer I got error:
"No technical request data was transferred from the previous page. Usually this occurs if ActiveX is not enabled. Enable 'Active X plugins' in the Internet Explorer:
Tools> Internet Options > Tab Security> Custom Level... > Mark Run ActiveX controls and plug-ins. Click on Apply for SAP Passport again."
I tried this hint but it did not help. It is happenning in Internet Explorer 11. Should I downgrade it. If so how can I do that?
Thank you in advance
Jan

Hi All,
We have IBM JDK 1.5.0 on SAP Netweaver 7.01. As partner JDK's are out of support, we need to replace this with SAP JVM 4.1 with latest patch.
I need to know the replacement methods and per-requisite.
Thanks and Regards,
Deepak Gupta

Thanks in advance.

Hi everyone,
I am playing around with a trial account for SAP HANA Cloud, especially deploying apps with usage of on-premise services of an ABAP application server. For checking the authentication functionalities, I intended to setup a SSO scenario. As I don't have an IdP for my own, I thought it was a good idea to use the SAP ID service as trusted IdP for my AS.
I obtained the needed configuration data as described in this Blog entry: http://scn.sap.com/thread/3425133
When I try to configure SAP ID service as trusted IdP in the SAML 2.0 configuration of the AS (TA SAML2), I always get the error message "some certificates of the selected trusted provider where not parsed" on step Signature and Encryption. I can't finish the configuration on step Authentication Requirements due error message "new trusted provider can not be saved. certificate cannot be saved in Address Book. Cannot analyze certificate".
When I try to add the certificate manually (TA STRUSTSSO2, Certificate > Address Book), i get the error message "cannot analyze certificate".
The certificate is importable to every PSE file and to my Windows Certificate Manager, and except of an outdated validity period, it looks well formed for me.
Has anyone tried the same and succeeded?
Can anyone provide me other suggestions on that?
Thx, Stephan
Hi,
I have Installed CE server newly. After this I have run some Configuration Tasks on the server all of which got finished successfully. Suddenly the server got restarted and it has not come-up till now (> 24 hrs).
Even after stopping the server and starting does not help.
The error log from dev_server0: (Not full just relevant from the end)

Any suggestions/soutions are welcome.
I have already seen:

But could not find the detailed description for the Exit Code: 143
Looking forward for your help.

Hello
I wander how to patch a BI7.3 based netweaver 7.3 system. It contains an ABAP and an Java system. If I start SUM I have to use na <sid>adm user. Due to the fact I have two systems I have two users.
Does this means I have to run SUM twice(once for Java and once for ABAP)?
Thank you in advance
Jan
Dear sappers,
we are upgrading our SAP NetWeaver 7.4 system from SPS03 to SPS05 via SUM (mandatory since SP05).
We are facing the following problem during phase MAIN_SHDRUN/ACT_UPG:

Logs are showing that other objects are being activated, so we don't think is a tp problem.
Preliminary checks by SUM have stated that SPAM and Kernel are sufficient for the upgrade task.
We were wonder: what kind of objects are? Where can we find them insite the NW system?
Anyone is facing the same issue?
Thanks in advance, happy new year to all of you,
Andrea
hi all
We want set role to just display when Tcd:sm50 is using.
But we can not find display of Activity on object S_ADMI_FCD.
Please give us a solution to fix.
Thanks in advance,
