Hello to all,

during the PI upgrade from 7.11 to 7.3 crahsed the software update manager.

We recovered PI from an Backup. Now the AS JAVA is not starting. The bootstrap fails with exit code 500.

Could someone provide some help.

I wander about sapcpe replication. We are running HP-UX/Oracle SAPECC system 7.02

What I found out is that /usr/sap/<SID>/DVEBMGS<nr>/exe is not filled with brtools, brrecover, brarchive etc.

Is that  normal or?

Hello friends,

I am getting an error in the "Perform MSS post load activities" phase while doing a system copy(target system installation) of ERP6.0 EHP6 system. I am using the attach/detach and selected homogeneous system copy.

This is the error message in SAPGui

F:\usr\sap\AE7\SYS\exe\uc\NTAMD64\dipgntab.exe -rwr40 -srctt DDNTT -srctf DDNTF -dsttt DDNTT -dsttf DDNTF -ttonly TT' exits with error code -1073741819.

For details see log file(s) dipgntab.log.).     

But dipgntab.log hardly gives any clue. Below are the contents of the digpgntab.log file. I tried updating the kernel.

Hello experts,

We have a problem with SMTP mail and the ECC SAP system. We have noticed this where mail is leaving the system when it has been

generated by a batch job and the spool output is sent to a shared distribution group. The SAP log suggests that SAP has indeed sent the emails.

However the logs on the SMTP gateway say the emails were not correctly received.

The issue occurs when...

A batch job runs a program that creates a spool. The batch job is configured to send to a distribution group.

The distribution group contains many SMTP email addresses.

(If the batch job is configured with a single SMTP address without using a distribution list then it works fine.)

What should happen is that the spool is converted to a txt file and emailed to all the SMTP addresses in the distribution list.

db oracle 11.2

N.B : We have recently patched the ECC kernel from 701 to 720

Dear all,

I am encountering a fatal error in the configuration of the Transport Management System:

      "Transport profile parameter NEW_SAPNAMES may not be system specific!"

This error occurs in my new system in two situations in transaction STMS:

     a) Menu SAP system -> Check -> Transport tool: result of the checks 'DB Connect and 'Offline Call' contains the above error

     b) Display TMS Configuration for the system -> Menu Goto -> tp parameters: reading the complete set of tp parameters fails with the above error.

The tp parameter NEW_SAPNAMES is set to true (required for packaging of ABAP code with the Add-On Assembly Kit)

Even after reading the TMS online help and the PDF on the Transport Management Tools, I don't have a clear idea what could be the reason for that error. Does anyone of you have experience or helpful hints on that?

Good Day!

We are planning to move Database Host to new location hence IP and Host Name will get changed.

Simple query, in how many files (name) in SAP application side, we will have to perform the changes as a SAP Administrator.

I have found the DB host entry in the Default Profile only.

Do you think there are more files or any other precaution we will have to keep during this move.?

I performed an
export of a (ABAP cental) system and now I am performing import of same system.

For export of system 32 ABAP import jobs was  ideal.

I wander is 32 ideal (or »not so bad«) also for import?

Machine is same (Bl860c
i2 servers with 2 itanium processors (9300 series) 4 cores in hyper threading
each (so in total 16 hyper threading cores)

Hi All,

I am getting an error TRUST040 when trying to replace first and delete/ create SNCcryptolib certrificate in strust transaction.

I have gone through following notes but was not able to find the solution.

510007 - Setting up SSL on Web Application Server ABAP

1471126 - STRUST: How to correctly install SAPCRYPTOLIB

1375378 - Select the right version of an SAP security toolkit

397175 - SAP Cryptographic Software - Export control

455033 - SAPCRYPTOLIB versions, bugs and fixes

Environment variables,Parameteres in RZ10, sapcrytolib all are set properly as described in the sap notes.

1) Iam getting this error in solution manager

2) SNC SAProuter is also running on the same host as solution manager

3) RFC connection SM_<SID>_BACK in ECC to solman are failing with TYPE=E error

When i looked at OS level on solution manager, i found sapcryptolib.dll in two locations one under saprouter directory and other under \<sid>\exe and following are env.variables.

1) Environment Variables

a) under user variables for SIDADM

     SECUDIR is set to E:\usr\sap\saprouter\

      SNC_LIB is set to  E:\usr\sap\saprouter\sapcryto.dll

b) Under system variables

      SAPSECUDIR is set to E:\usr\sap\SID\SYS\exe\uc\NTAMD64

      SECUDIR      is set to   e:\usr\sap\saprouter

Questions:

1) Are these env.variables correctly set ?

2) can sapcrypto.dll  exist in different locations on the same host even though they are for two different purposes?

2) RZ10 Parameters, i think these are all required parameters which already exist in our system

All this has started when RFC connections from ECC to solman are failing with TYPE= E error which is related to SNC.

I'm running into an odd issue but I suspect I'm missing something obvious which someone will have no problems correcting me on.

I have created a new client in our development system, connected with the default SAP* user, set up an RFC destination to a test system (with an account that has authorization to access the test system) and started a SAP_ALL remote client copy.

During the copy, while I'm monitoring, I'm seeing the message "No RFC authorization in target system for process 00001".  Since this is a new client, there isn't an actual user in the system at this point, and therefore no authorizations set outside what the SAP* account has by default.

I have also tried the client copy again after performing a SAP_USER client copy (which worked without issues) and using one of the users brought down during that copy which had the SAP_ALL profile.  That user is also seeing the same messages in the log for the SAP_ALL client copy.

I'm wondering about the account perhaps needing the S_RFC_ADM authorization object, but I'm not sure why this message would be appearing only on some of the tables (375 of 5,292 copied so far) and not all of them.  The tables aren't even from one component, but a cross section of them.

Does anyone have any thoughts?  So far my research has not been too fruitful but I'm not quite ready to give up and send a message to SAP Support on this.

For example:

*@crm-prod.company.com --> SAPWASHost:25000 , What´s the meaning?

*@crm-prod.company.com , i think is: mymailuser after @ domainmycompany.com = Is ok?

Or is someone user after @ saphostname.domainmycompany.com, Which one is correct?

SAPWASHost: this name is not change?

Or SAPWASHost: is the name of my hostname?

Our ADS isn't working. We are on netweaver 7.3.

The tests  FP_CHECK_DESTINATION_SERVICE and FP_CHECK_HTTP_DATA_TRANSFER failed with error "SYSTEM ERROR: SOAP Runtime Exception: CSoapExceptionFault: SOAP fault found in SOAP document /javax.ejb.EJBException: nested exception is: javax.transaction.RollbackException: Tranaction: with ID 10081 will be rollbacked."

The test FP_TEST_00 failed with error: "ADS: SOAP Runtime Exception: CSoapExceptionFault: SOAP (100102)".

The test FP_PDF_TEST_00 is working fine and give back the version number: 901.20100312020139.654142.

So in transaction SM59 under http connections type 'G' the connection is working with path prefix "/AdobeDocumentServices/Config?style=rpc&wsdl". Without &wsdl it shows an 405 error "method not allowed".

All users (ADS_AGENT, ADSUSER, etc) are unblocked and active.

The services "/default_host/sap/bc/fp" and "/default_host/sap/bc/fpads" are activated too.

Configurationtest of the ICF service with http://<host>:<port>/sap/bc/fp/form/layout/fp_test_00.xdp is also working fine.

Last but not least the ping test of destination with url http://<host>:<port>/sap/bc/fp/form/layout/fp_test_00.xdp was also successfully.

Please help me out.

Good day All..

In NW7.3, the administrator user is locked. J2EE_ADMIN user does not have auth to access the Identity management. I therefore activated the user successfully. Upon login on to the J2EE engine, superuser does not have auth as well. I am not able to use VA as this is no longer part of NW7.3. Role SAP_J2EE_ADMIN is assisgned to J2EE_ADMIN user.

Please advise other ways to get this user unlocked
